About the host

Host profile image
We live just outside Cambridge but both have Scottish roots. We visited family in the area 20+ years ago and stumbled across this property. We have been renting it and using it for family holidays ever since.

Why they chose this property

The Solway Coast, aka the Scottish Riveria has its own micro climate where we miss the worst of the weathers. Meaning whilst a large part of Scotland can be wet, very wet we will still be experiencing dry and sunny weather.

The proximity of beaches, woodland walks and stunning countryside makes the location very appealing.

What makes this property unique

Our property is a genuine log cabin, offering a complete getaway from it all. Close enough to everything but quiet enough to truly escape.
Perfect for families or older couples looking to relax.
