Would highly recommend. Very peaceful, loads of wildlife in the garden, very clean and comfortable. Lovely place to be.

Lovely and peaceful lodge, host was quick to respond to any message and the property was immaculately clean. We loved our stay and hope to return to see the masses of birds in the garden and the badgers who visited nightly. We lived our daily dog walk in the beach across the road also.

Perfect Christmas holiday! The host, Moyra, was so kind and responsive. The lodge was just lovely with a wood burning stove with plenty of logs/kindling, beautifully furnished throughout, great heaters, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, great bathroom with nice shower and all absolutely spotless. Our dog, Jack, enjoyed squirrel, badger and deer TV through the sliding windows in the living room! The views were great and it's close to Dalbeattie Forest which has lovely trails and Sandyhills Beach. Just perfect!
