Peaceful

So lovely, really homely. All the essentials plus bits like sandwich boxes and a slow cooker in the kitchen. Tourist leaflets and info pack could do with udating. Would be helpful to have supermarket/ local market/pharmacy details. Limited rainy day things to do in the flat. No books, family games etc. However, Carlisle nearby. Loads of hidden tea rooms and cafes in the surrounding villages. Maryport is gorgeous.

Excellent location and lovely accommodation

The flat is really very well done and nicely spacious. The views are wonderful and looking out over the sea from the sofa was so lovely. Good location, incredibly peaceful but close enough to the town that you don't feel cut off. Bed was very comfy. Worth adding to the listing that the coffee machine is a Tassimo - I'd have taken pods with me had a known what make it was. The milk pots provided with the tea/coffee were all over a month past the use by date.

A place to build memories

From the minute we opened the door our wonderful adventure began. We have had the best holiday for many years each day was such a joy and coming home to Glendale finished our days off beautifully. What a beautiful comfortable retreat - will never forget this week

This was one of the nicest holiday properties we have ever stayed in. Total peace and quiet, amazing views out of all rear rooms. Everything we needed, superbly equipped. Beautiful apartment with high spec and high standard furnishing. Fabulous bathroom with a great shower. Immaculately clean throughout and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! A lovely touch of little 'treats' for your stay. Not for anyone with mobility problems as there is a flight of steps up to the entrance. The road in is a little hard to find and a bit on the 'rugged' side but well worth it when you get there. We can't wait to go again!
