Historic 'Old Toll House' Shaldon Bridge - Amazing Views/ Private Garden!
With stunning views over the Teign Estuary and out to Sea, The Old Toll House is an historic landmark situated on the on the Teignmouth side of Shaldon Bridge in South Devon.
A well preserved early 19th Century building, updated throughout. The property is arranged with 2 bedrooms, living room (with small double pop-up bed*)/ dining room, kitchen and bathroom. With a great outdoor space with amazing views.
*There’s bedding incl. towels etc provided except for the pop-up bed in the lounge.
With a characterful cottage feel the sitting room has a side aspect with views out towards Shaldon & Teignmouth across the River Teign and out to Sea.
The charming kitchen has a side aspect with river views and door leading out to the side patio and garden, fitted with an integrated oven and electric hob and fridge/freezer.
The stylish ground floor bathroom provides a wet room shower, bath, basin, ladder style radiator and a washing machine.
Bedroom 1 has a dual aspect with wonderful panoramic views along the Teign Estuary and over to Shaldon and neighbouring hillside. Bedroom 2 has a side aspect with river views.
To the rear of The Old Toll House is an enclosed garden with views across the River Teign, across to Shaldon & Teignmouth and out to Sea, arranged with a patio area and lawn.
Like many Devon village properties it has no parking of its own but you can easily unload your luggage or shopping directly opposite the property and you then have a choice of parking up by Mill Lane or Third Avenue (2-3 mins walk) or just over the bridge on Riverside (5-6mins) or in one of the nearby car parks.
With so much to do in a short walking distance especially the beach, pubs and restaurants in Shaldon just across the bridge or even enjoying the views from the garden this is the perfect base.
