In the picture-perfect village of Bessen Haut (also known as Bessè Alto), a restored mountain village that dates from the 1700’s, this is a luxurious retreat for 4 people. The apartment is on the raised ground floor of a traditional lodge and would suit friends or a family looking for alpine adventures or simply to relax in stunning countryside.

The airy apartment is beautifully decorated, with lots of character. The owners have taken a great deal of care to ensure that their guests have a comfortable stay. The open-plan living space includes a sofa, armchair, HD Smart tv and modern fireplace. The dining area is at the other end of the room, next to the modern kitchen. The dining table seats 4 people and is separated from the kitchen by an island. The stylish kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and an American fridge/freezer.

French windows lead from the living area, down a short flight of steps, to the private garden. Here, guests can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and have meals al fresco.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable, king-size double bed, a flat-screen TV and a mirrored wardrobe. A glass door leads out to a private balcony.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has attractive wooden storage, two single beds and a large, laptop-friendly workspace.

Bathroom 1: This luxurious, wood-panelled bathroom is appointed with a full bath/jacuzzi, a separate shower, double basins, bidet and WC.
Bathroom 2: A brightly-tiled bathroom with a glass shower, basin, bidet, WC, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Location
The charming village of Bessen Haut is wonderfully located, sunny and peaceful. Guests are lucky to have the excellent Ristorante Misun La Font just a few steps away. The village also has a beautiful chapel – La Cappella di Sant’Anna, which is worth a visit. Guests can enjoy hiking and mountain biking through alpine meadows and excellent skiing in the winter months.

Sestriere (10 minutes) hosted the Winter Olympics in 2006 and has excellent skiing facilities for all ages. Visitors can enjoy cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing. The town has a range of restaurants and cafés as well as grocery stores and other amenities.

Valle Argentera (15 minutes) is known for its outstanding natural beauty. Guests can hike by the river near the Ponte Terribile.

Turin airport is a 1 hour and 35-minute drive from the apartment.
