The beautiful shower room is on the ground floor, handy for coming back from the beach, and upstairs there’s a gorgeous bathroom, as well as the two bedrooms. The chic king-size room has an ornamental fireplace, and the twin is lovely and light thanks to being dual aspect; both bedrooms have wardrobes for your holiday outfits.

Head out from the door and you’re among all the action. Pack your beach bag and head to the nearest golden sands (0.5 miles) to sunbathe and surf, do some rock pooling, and have a dip. Book boat tours and fishing trips from the harbour, walk or cycle along the 18-mile flat route of the Camel Trail, which runs through stunning scenery between Padstow to Wenfordbridge. Enjoy the fabulous places to eat for fish and chips shops, cream teas, fresh seafood, and restaurants run by celebrity chefs, one even has a Michelin star.
