Ideal for those who love the great outdoors, it has picturesque walks from the doorstep. Also venture 12 miles to find yourselves within the breathtaking landscapes of the North York Moors or 8 miles to the Howardian Hills. Here you can also while away an afternoon visiting the spectacular stately home and parkland grounds of Castle Howard, 11.5 miles from your base. The younger members of your party will enjoy a trip to Flamingo Land, 2.5 miles away, or the seaside at Whitby, 24 miles away, or Scarborough, 20.5 miles. You can also choose to walk a section of the Cleveland Way along this scenic stretch of North Yorkshire coastline.
