Stayed a couple of nights as a base to go to the coast with our 2 dachshunds, location was very quiet and perfect for relaxing, property was secure for our pets, a couple of miles in either direction was a village with pubs, shops etc. Coast was only 20 mins drive. Overall a very pleasant stay...
We had a lovely stay at this cute cottage cozy enough for 2. It was in a picturesque area and nice and quiet. The hot tub was a lovely touch after a stressful year to relax under the stars. The cottage was well equipped, very clean and Netflix was a great bonus. We spent New Year in the Ye Olde Forge Valley pub which had good food and lovely hosts and was a short taxi ride away with a local taxi company but book ahead as he does get very busy. Sue was lovely and friendly and happy to help with any questions we had and gave us info on places of interest. We will definitely be back
Warm friendly welcome from Sue.
Cosy cottage with the benefit of a relaxing hot tub. The cottage is well equipped with everything we needed for our short stay.
Great location with lots to do within a short driving distance. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely weekend away with the hubby. Perfect cottage in a fab location , welcome hamper was a cute touch.
Sue is a brilliant host , we will deffo be returning.
Lovely property fully equipped and nicely decorated. Hot tub is great, and the roof above means it can be used even in bad weather. Our dog Bessie loved using the large garden area, and the host Sue was great.
Well recommended!
Easy to get to. Quite close to Scarborough and Filey. A lovely place to stay, and was lovely to take my dog too. Sue was a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble.

A little GEM
Well this was a great find, the cottage is of an extremely high standard with all mod cons, bright and nicely decorated, and ideal for a couple & dogs.
Set in the sleepy, tranquil village of Ruston , great for the moors and the coast. Sue and Neil are wonderful hosts with great knowledge of the area and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Great location as a base to explore the area. Sue is a wonderful host and will help make your stay an enjoyable one. The property was lovely and maintained to a high standard and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Like many of her previous guests we will be contacting Sue when we are again visiting the region. Thank you Sue and a big “woof” to Poppy!
A warm friendly greeting from owners on and during our stay. Accommodation was very clean bright and modern, shower power excellent. The bed so comfy getting up in a morning difficult. Owners Neil & Sue on hand to ask and sort any questions we had re working T.V or area. Couldn't find any negatives, plan to visit again, highly recommend this property.
