Enjoying a picturesque view towards the historic Pulteney Bridge, this superb apartment offers gorgeous accommodation for up to four guests seeking a central getaway perfect for exploring the vibrant spa city of Bath. The apartment forms part of an impressive building designed by Robert Adam in the 1790s which has been beautifully updated and makes a great base for exploring everything Bath has to offer. Overlooking the River Avon, the property lies in the eastern part of the city, within easy reach of Sydney Gardens, Henrietta Park and Bath Recreation Ground. Crossing the bridge, the western part of the city has the main shopping areas, with a wealth of major historic landmarks and attractions for you to discover including the Pump Room, the Roman Baths, Victoria Art Gallery, the Royal Crescent and the Assembly Rooms.


Entering the apartment, you will be greeted by the grand and imposing open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which provides a fantastic space for families and couples to unwind in peace. The colourful and beautifully decorated lounge is elegantly furnished with an impressive double-height ceiling, eye-catching decorative cornices, flamboyant period details and three floor-to-ceiling windows. The central dining table provides a welcoming space for enjoying family feasts which you can prepare in the bespoke kitchen which sits in its own space beneath the mezzanine level. Stairs lead up onto the mezzanine which overlooks the main room. Here, you will find another lounge area providing a cosy space to snuggle up in the evenings. The sofa bed up here provides accommodation for two extra guests (on request). When it’s time to retire for the night, there’s a choice of two pretty bedrooms: a delightful double with a handy en-suite shower room, and a bright king-size room with a chandelier and original sash windows. The accommodation is rounded off with a sleek tiled bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower, a WC, a utility cupboard and a small recessed window looking towards Pulteney Bridge.


Although the property has no outside space, the apartment is close to several parks, with riverside walks and the Beazer Garden Maze close by. Parking is available in nearby car parks.

Excellent location, great view

Nice place and great location. It is a one floor walk up and had some revelers outside Friday and Saturday nights.

Fabulous view and location

As advertised, the apartment is in the center of town with incredible views of the river. The ceilings are high, the apartment has old-world charm, and the kitchen is neat and adequate. The bedrooms were comfortable with lovely bedding. I hope my travels bring me to Bath again soon so we can stay here again.

Best View in Bath

We had a wonderful time at this gorgeous property right on the Pulteney Bridge. We only stayed for 2 nights before moving on to London and I wish we would have stayed at least one more as this property was one of the highlights of our trip. The views of the water are stunning and it's centrally located to everything you'd want to do in Bath.

Perfect stay!

Loved the apartment—well appointed and comfortable. Views were great, and you couldn’t ask for a better location. Only criticism is the mattress in the larger bedroom was due for replacement. But the overall ambiance of the place made up for it.

Beautiful view of Pultney Bridge

Very comfortable and extremely clean place with the best view of the Wye. Bed linen was nice. The larger bedroom was luxurious with nice pieces of antique furniture. The lounge area is very relaxing after a busy day. The bathroom was good with a shower and little window showing the bridge.

I can honestly say, I have never stayed in an accommodation so centrally located. The view of the river from the apartment was spectacular too! Bedding was very comfortable. The main bedroom with en suite was slightly small. However, I would definitely recommend this place.

Loved the Argyle Street flat!

Six of us stayed here for a few days and absolutely loved it. We had the most amazing view of the weir and the Abbey. The furnishings were wonderful, the beds comfortable (apart from the sofa bed which two of us shared - not good). We were especially pleased to find the kitchen very well stocked with all the equipment we needed for cooking for meals to in. We were very centrally located and could walk everywhere. We would definitely stay here again!

Location location Location

This is the spot you want to be to access the city and surroundings. It’s perfect with a 5min walk in all directions. The accommodation is modern and quirky. Clean and comfortable. There is a French and two steak restaurants downstairs, and of course a cake shop with good coffee. Fell in love with the city and would definitely book this accommodation again.

Best Location in Bath

The Argyle Riverview flat is a perfect starting point to tour Bath and the apartment views are spectacular. The apartment has plenty of room and all the necessary amenities. The street parking was always available close to the flat. We will definitely consider it again next time we are near Bath. Alexa was prompt and always willing to assist.

Best stay on our UK 2019 trip.

After Edinburgh, York and London we wanted a quiet place to unwind from our busy holiday and we definitely found it here in Bath. This property puts you in the middle of everything you want to see. Best of all it is roomy, grand and has a view to die for. Very quiet at night, though we were there during the week days. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to just relax and take it easy. Hank & Jennifer

Amazing stay in Bath

Wow what a flat. Amazing views of the weir from the huge windows in the main room. The flat is very spacious, well maintained and super clean. Very convenient location to lots of pubs, restaurants, shopping and local attractions. The provided guidebook was a huge help. Beds were very comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to finish our UK adventure. Clare was very helpful and always available.

Awesome 3 day holiday stay

Location was great. A little noisy at night from All the drunk people walking across the bridge but it wasn’t to bad. Parking was a pain but we only had to do it once so not a big deal parking far away. Absolutely great location for Walking everywhere. View of the wier and the sound of water flowing was very soothing. Would definitely book again.

Lovely location and view over the river

We stayed here with 6 people in June, and for a weekend there was enough space for all. The location is really perfect and the view over the river lovely. The flat is very comfortable and everything was in good working order. It was a very authentic Bath experience to stay in such a lovely Georgian flat. We were very grateful that Alexa & Sara were able to facilitate us with both an early check in and check out which made such a difference to our stay. Everything went smoothly with regards to booking, hiring portacots/highchairs, check in/out and deposits. I would highly recommend this flat and would stay again.
