Perfect Spring Break Vacation

The property was right on the beach so easy access for the kids and dogs to come and go as they wanted to. Everything was well stocked and being towards the end of the island, everything was quiet and perfect for the family. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 kids with ample space to spare. I would stay here again!

Loved the screen porch and the closeness of the ocean. Pictures are accurate and all was clean and comfortable. It would be nice if they put an instruction book for tv, etc. great stay!

Loved staying here with adult friends!

Stayed here with 5 of my friends. We enjoyed being on the quieter end of Folly. Highlights were the view from the deck, plenty of seating for everyone to hang out in living room/dining room/deck together. If you are planning to cook, bring the essential utensils/pans/etc. We will bring more next time to be able to cook/stay in! Would love to return here!

Awesome House, Beautiful View, Totally Worth It

My family and friends stayed here for 6 nights, and it was magical. Plenty of space, great layout for us, and the ocean is RIGHT THERE when you look outside. I loved how at high tide, the water comes right up to the bottom of the steps. Very special place ❤️

Great Place with the Beach as your Backyard!

This house has an ideal location! The interior was been redone with plenty of space for a few families to split up the house. The views are amazing! Lots of parking and paved play area for bikes and scooters under the house. The main living area is all open with bedrooms off to each side. Lots of space to stretch out. We mostly stayed on the covered porch. Highly recommend for a laid back, no frills vacation.

Great Stay

This is a great house for accommodating a large group. We ended up having only 7 guests due to flight cancellations from snow storm. The living area is large and comfortable. The porch is great but it was COLD when we were there so didn't get to enjoy it. The house needs a little TLC- 2 broken chairs at kitchen table, corroded batteries in upstairs heat/ac remote. I realize with any house, there is always something needing to be done. The appliances worked very well. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The property management staff were friendly and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Pride and Joy on Folly. Thanks!

Pride and Joy Vacation

The house was clean. Had a couple of issues, but the rental company addressed right away. The inside living area floor needs work. The finish is worn off in the center of the living area and is down to bare wood. The outside needs attention. There are new steps coming up from the garage area, however the front and rear steps need work. The screen porch over looking the ocean is very nice. But it needs a good cleaning and some of the flooring needs to be replace. Outside screen lattice work needs to be replaced on porch. The house has good bones, but the outside needs some TLC.

Family Reunion

This was the perfect place for our family to stay for a local family reunion. We had multiple families stay here. We loved the open floor plan and that everyone was able to have a queen bed or larger. The house was clean. The sunrise each morning was gorgeous. Breakfast or coffee on the screen porch or in the livingroom looking out the windows and watching the dolphins even in January was magical. We are from the beach, but this was right on the ocean. The water comes right up to the rocks at high tide. The house was an unexpected experience of its own on this trip. The hosts were awesome! Great with communicating. A couple of days before our trip, they called an voluntarily gave us some of our money back because the beach access had been washed away in a storm earlier in the week. The access was not able to be rebuilt by the time we stayed. But they communicated right away and made it right. The atmosphere of the island is very inclusive and small town. And there is a light house you can walk to at the end of the street. We very much loved our stay at this house and would love to stay again soon.

Lovey Home

So grateful to be able to bring the Frenchies. Nicely appointed. Loved the espresso coffeemaker and coffee! Kindly provided. I have a few suggestions: Pls get fitted sheets that don’t pop off continually and I wanted to mop the floors but, no mops or bucket. The management responded quickly and thoughtfully. The following was a cont problem; May want to fence the front bc the beach house across the street felt free to trespass from beneath the house to the beach instead of using the beach walk. This was a continued problem bc when they left the next group of 10 or more also wanted beach access via this property, good grief- this is why we paid to be on the beach!? Also I forgot to mention the group prior to us left 4 pairs of men’s underwear on the floor of the closet upstairs😬 in the corner (we washed and put on the shelf) lol renters haha Overall loved the place will be back and management was on it! Much appreciated
