About this property
2 Bed in Padstow (oc-p00670)
Bring family or friends away for a break in Padstow to walk the Camel Trail, spend days relaxing on the soft sandy beaches and indulge in fresh, locally caught seafood for special occasions. This cottage is a fantastic base from which to explore with many of its beautiful original features from Cornish slate walls to painted beams across the ceilings as well as offering ultimate comfort in every room.
Welcoming you into the property is the country-styled open-plan living room/kitchen/diner with sumptuous seating, a Smart TV for cosy evenings. The grey and wood dining table is located in one corner beside the feature exposed slate wall, just steps away from the spacious modern kitchen where you can cook meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms, the first of which boasts a double bed, a window seat and an en-suite shower room for additional privacy. In addition, there is a twin bedroom which is perfect for younger guests, fitted with a chest of drawers and a wardrobe for storage. Completing the cottage is the bathroom with a thermostatic shower over the bath, a great place to unwind before bedtime.
Explore the South West Coast Path from Padstow towards Trevose Headland and you’ll get the opportunity to stop off at Rock Beach, Trevone Bay and Harlyn Bay Beach for an ice cream or a savoury bite to eat en route. From the harbour, you can book a fishing trip or a sealife safari to see this part of the country from a unique viewpoint. Take the Black Tor ferry across the water from Padstow to spend a few hours in Rock where, at low tide, you can walk across to Daymer Bay to soak up the scenery.
