This characterful original farm cottage makes for a quiet hideaway for families and friends seeking a secluded bolthole in an unforgettable corner of Mid Wales. The property lies within easy reach of the vibrant seaside resort of Aberystwyth (4 miles), known for its long Victorian-era promenade, pier and crescent-shaped sand and shingle beaches. Aberystwyth is also home to a lively Arts Centre, a wealth of great pubs, traditional restaurants and independent shops, as well as both the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway and the Vale of Rheidol Railway. Heading a little further north along the majestic coastline of Cardigan Bay, the long golden beach of Borth (10 miles) is a great spot for water sports. Just a little further north, the serene Ynyslas National Nature Reserve sits along the mouth of the River Dyfi (12.5 miles), offering some glorious views of the Dyfi Valley and across the estuary to Aberdyfi. Keen walkers can explore the Coastal path and inland the majestic Hafod Estate (14 miles) and Nant-yr-Arian where there are many walking and mountain bike trails, to suit all abilities.

This cosy room has a large, impressive, original, stone Inglenook fireplace fitted with a roaring wood burner, Smart TV and comfortable seating. The ground floor also features an invigorating shower room as well as a beautifully arranged and fully equipped kitchen with stylish tiling and wooden ceiling beams. The three bright bedrooms are all on the first floor. Choose between a pretty double, a cute twin with stunning south westerly views and a tastefully decorated king-size room. The accommodation is rounded off with a stylish bathroom with a low, sloping ceiling.


Stepping outside, the sweet garden has a pretty patio with fabulous views over the Ystwyth Valley and ample outdoor furniture, providing a lovely space in which to unwind. Perfect for morning coffees and al fresco dining. Ample private parking is available.
