About this property
3 Bed in Llanrhystud (oc-m28913)
This coastal bolthole is in the quaint village of Llanrhystud, close to the gorgeous beaches and coast paths of Cardigan Bay. The property sleeps five guests and makes a great base for families and groups of friends, with a sociable kitchen/diner and a myriad of creature comforts, including a warming wood burner. Nearby days out include the colourful seaside town of Aberaeron (7 miles) and the university town of Aberystwyth (11 miles).
The traditional Welsh cottage is warm and inviting, with beautiful exposed woodwork, original beams, and a cosy wood burner. Relax in the comfortable lounge after a day of exploring, stretched out on the sofa to watch the Smart TV or curled up in an armchair with a good book. From here, move through to the stylish kitchen/diner which has everything needed to create tasty dishes and a farmhouse-style dining table for sharing mealtimes as a group. A single bedroom and a handy shower room complete the ground floor. Upstairs, a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom await, both with delightful sea views. Outside, the enclosed garden is a haven of tranquillity and is the perfect place for a sundowner or BBQ on a summer’s evening.
Llanrhystud has a long sand and shingle beach that boasts panoramic views of Cardigan Bay. Spend time here, enjoying a family picnic, playing beach games, and splashing in the sea. The beach is also a popular spot for all manner of water sports. The Wales Coast Path passes along the edge of the beach, offering spectacular walks with jaw-dropping views. The lively seaside town of Aberaeron is just 7 miles away and has a great range of independent restaurants, along with fish and chip shops and ice cream parlours.
