About this property

3 Bed in Duporth (oc-s29979)

This stylish home-away-from-home is in Duporth Bay, on Cornwall’s south coast. The contemporary retreat is the perfect base for families and friends seeking a seaside getaway, with a delightful, private beach, known as Two Coves, just 200 metres away. You’ll also be within easy reach of some of Cornwall’s top attractions, including The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project (both within 6 miles).

The three-storey, beachside holiday home is reached via a flight of stairs. Enter the first floor to discover two relaxing double bedrooms, along with the stylish family bathroom. From here, head upstairs to the sleek kitchen, featuring glossy units, a breakfast table, and all the equipment needed to create delicious meals for the group. Also on this floor is a master double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Make your way up to the third floor, where you’ll find a bright and inviting lounge with an array of comfortable seating to relax on after a day of adventure and a Smart TV for enjoying movie nights together. From here, doors open onto a private balcony with outdoor furniture and far-reaching views. There is private off-road parking for one car.

Head into Charlestown (1 mile) to admire the beautifully preserved Georgian harbour, which has featured in many films and TV programmes over the years. The village has an excellent array of friendly pubs and independent restaurants, along with boutiques and galleries to potter around. There are some beautiful beaches within easy reach, including the family favourite of Par Sands (5.5 miles) and the sheltered cove at Porthpean (1 mile). The picture-postcard fishing village of Mevagissey (6 miles) is also well worth a visit, with its colourful cottages and cobbled streets.
