Ideally situated on the beautiful South Coast, close to many beaches, coastal paths, woodland walks and attractions such as the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown (one of the famous film sets for Poldark), Pinetum Gardens, Mevagissey and Fowey. Just a 25 minute drive to Newquay and Truro and a 30 minute drive to Padstow. Anywhere you wish to visit during your holiday is within easy reach - St Ives, Falmouth, Penzance, Lands End, the Lizard, Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle.
St Austell Town is just a short walk away and boasts a number of restaurants, a cinema and a variety of shops. With St Austell Brewery, famous for it’s “Proper Job” and “Tribute” Ales and “Korev” Lager also within walking distance. Nearby supermarkets include a Co-op, Asda, Lidl, Aldi, Tesco and Iceland.
Leave the car at home & travel by train or bus. Nearest train/bus station is just a 15 minute walk away with plenty of smaller bus stops along the way.

Ideal for a couple. Clean. Great location for visiting Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown, Mevagissey and Wheal Martyn. Good private driveway parking. Well equipped and comfortable.
Had a restful weekend ,property was beautifully clean and well set out .a short walk from the town and a short drive to some beautuful beaches.Highly recommended.

Excellent apartment finished to a very high specification. We never met the host but one the occasion of needing to contact them they responded immediately. The only disappointment was that due to the trees we could actually see the river. Ideal location for visiting Cornwall including the Eden project Padstow Rock Mevagissey Falmouth etc. Would highly recommend. Would stay again if travelling to Cornwall in the future.
Well located holiday apartment with good starting point for excursions
The holiday apartment is well located, has everything you need and was very clean and tidy.
From St. Austell you can easily reach many beautiful destinations and you can also get to the south coast fairly quickly, where you can go on wonderful hikes.
The landlords are very nice and friendly. Everything was in immaculate condition.
We arrived by car, which is useful for excursions.
The „River Valley Studio“ offers a small but comfortable home on two levels, ideal to explore the area from here. Easy communication with host family, clear rules and the wonderful british hospitality. Everything is available, no extras but just perfect for 2 people. Thank you for giving us a Cornwall Feeling in the middle of green nature and botanical highlights!
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful apartment. It even has a washing machine, although this isn't mentioned in the description.We didn't have a car, but that wasn't a problem as it's easy to get around Cornwall by train and bus from the house: a supermarket is less than a 10-minute walk away and the train station is less than 20 minutes away.
The studio was perfect for our needs and with plenty of space.
Of a high standard. Love the fact the kitchen is separate and down stairs. St Austell was a bit of a disappoint but the studio is perfect for travelling around to lots of areas. Definitely would recommend

A very quiet studio in a nice neighborhood at the margin of St. Austell, clean and rather spacy, with a full-fledged kitchen. It's a 20 min walk from the bus and railway station. Good if you are quite mobile: the southern and the northern coast is within easy reach. A well-sorted co-op is within walking distance. A wooded ravine provides a nice walk, the next scenic coast (near Mevagissey) is about 15 min away by car, the harbour of St. Austell 10 min. The hosts are very helpful and can give a lot of helpful advices!

I was alone, 80 years old and without a car The accommodation was too far from town centre and there was nothing to eat on my arrival which was late on a Sunday evening I can take responsibility for this but it would have been helpful to pop in notes you do need a car …..

Dear Julie. We’re very sorry you were disappointed with the location of our holiday let in proximity to the town centre. Distance to the town & train station (you chose to came by train) is all included in the description before you book. I also confirmed this when you messaged us. There is also a taxi rank at the station, lots of little bus stops and local taxi firms. The town is a short walk & the station a 10/15 minute walk. But this does depend on the individuals walking ability. We have many many guests who come by train. As discussed when you arrived (& again provided in the description & welcome pack beforehand), the holiday let is self-catering. We kindly provide tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt & pepper, many other small items and a welcome treat! I don’t understand why you expected any more than this? But I’m sorry again that you were disappointed. Kind Regards.
Very friendly hosts. Apartment was very well designed. Functional and optical.The apartment is in a quiet road with a lot of Nature around it.The city center is reachable by car or by a short walk of around 20 minutes.
Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung auf zwei Ebenen, ausgestattet mit allem Nötigen. Unsere Pläne von dort aus Cornwall zu erkunden gingen volk auf. Unsere Vermieter waren super diskret. Die Gegend recht ruhig, und insgesamt ist die Beschreibung der Ferienwohnung sehr detailliert, und wir bekamen nach Buchung nochmal ein sehr detailliertes Tutorial zur Wohnung, die recht modern ausgestattet ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ganz tolles kleines Studio im direktem Anbau vom Inhaberhaus. Die Wohnung ist modern und gemütlich eingerichtet und ist super ausgestattet. Sehr gutes WLAN und nettes Vermieter Ehepaar. Sehr zu empfehlen.
