This retreat sits amongst the peaceful Pembrokeshire countryside, close to the village of Maenclochog. The three-bedroom property has a sociable, open-plan layout and is perfect for large families and friends holidaying together. Enjoy day trips from the cottage to the colourful seaside town of Tenby (22 miles) or the harbour town of Fishguard (11.5 miles), and visit nearby family attractions such as Oakwood Theme Park (12.5 miles) or Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (17.5 miles).

The countryside hideaway has been beautifully decorated and furnished. At the heart of the home is a spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with underfloor heating and a warming wood burner – a welcome touch on a winter’s day. At one end is a comfortable lounge area with plump sofas and a TV, and taking centre stage in the room is a large, wooden dining table. The stylish kitchen area has everything needed to prepare delicious dinners and hearty breakfasts for the group. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility area, a shower room, and a snug with a sofa bed to accommodate flexible sleeping arrangements. Upstairs, three tranquil bedrooms await, all with neutral décor and plenty of storage. One of the bedrooms is a triple room with bunk beds and a single bed, making it a good room for children. A family bathroom completes this floor. Outside, dine alfresco on the sunny patio and admire the far-reaching countryside views. The property has private parking for four cars.

The vibrant town of Fishguard is 11.5 miles away and boasts an idyllic harbour and breathtaking coastal scenery. The area surrounding the cottage is a haven for keen walkers. Head north into Pembrokeshire National Park for exhilarating hikes through the Preseli Hills (6 miles) or join the long-distance Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Alternatively, pack a picnic and head to the secluded beach at Pwllgwaelod, 13.5 miles away.
