About this property
Delightful Cottage With Panoramic Sea Views near St.Davids
Ffynnon Ddofn is situated in a quiet lane, mid-way between St.Davids and Fishguard, with superb views over 18 miles of coastline and within easy each of all that the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast has to offer.
The cottage has a lovely bright kitchen, and open plan living room, with vaulted beamed ceilings and picture window. There are 3 bedrooms, one with king size bed, one with twin beds, and the third with bunk beds. There is also a large games room with snooker, table tennis, darts and children's toys, and a pleasant, secure garden surrounded by fields.
With central heating and double glazing, the cottage is warm and comfortable to be in all year round and there are stunning views from the main living rooms and garden. There's always something to see - the ferry going across to Ireland (day trips available) - a buzzard hovering - the Strumble Head lighthouse flashing.
There are safe sandy beaches nearby which are never crowded, even in peak season, rock pools, interesting little coves and fishing harbours and wonderful walks. A footpath along the lane winds down to Aber Felin beach, with its ancient mill stones, and the Coastal Path, which follows some of its most spectacular scenery here. The cliffs are carpeted with flowers in spring and in early autumn there are seal pups on the beaches below.
The cottage is available to book Saturday to Saturday, although other arrangements can be agreed out of season.

About the host

We live on the East coast of England, have 4 children, now grown up, and a Cavalier King Charles spaniels.
Why they chose this property
My husband is originally from Wales and we spent so many lovely family holidays in Pembrokeshire that we decided to buy our own cottage.
We particularly like this area from St. Davids to Fishguard, with its beautiful beaches and spectacular coastline, as it is quiet and peaceful but not isolated. Everyone is friendly and there are some amazing places to visit, plus the coast path is easily accessible and provides fantastic walking.

What makes this property unique
The cottage is in a great position and we have views over miles of coastline from the main living rooms. It's in a quiet lane and there is a footpath down to the beach which takes about 15 minutes.
We also have a large games room in the barn where we have some noisy table tennis tournaments! The garden is secure and surrounded by fields where we can watch the yellowhammers and skylarks. Great place to see the beautiful sunsets, too.
