Within a 2 km radius there are the beautiful beaches of Alonaki and of Chаlikounаs (οr Hаlikounаs), an enchanting stretch of golden sand that separates Korission Lagoon from the sea and is very popular with surfers and kite surfers for its wind exposure.
History lovers take note: the Byzantine fortress of Gardiki is just a few kilometers away.
