Property itself was ok - fairly new and well maintained apartment. The issue I had was it was in the basement and there was nothing in the listing to disclose this, to access it also is not easy on foot, you have to cross a big parking lot and it’s a very steep walk up a hill to find the property which is hidden away. There is no lift for luggage. Sound proofing also needs work, you can hear a lot of things outside, someone was listening to the radio full blast at 6am on the first morning and it was like it was playing inside the apartment. I complained to Guest Ready about the fact the property was in the basement and the best they could do was offer a partial refund, I have no idea how much and they have not come back to me about it. They initially offered free cancellation but after the 3pm check in, after being awake since 5:30am to catch my flight, this was not an option as I had no time to find alternative accommodation. The Guest Ready property I booked in Lisbon earlier in the week was even worse, I don’t think I’d ever book with them again after my experiences, it ruined our holiday.
