About this property
2 Bed in Harbury (oc-b34221)
Situated within a working farm in the picturesque village of Harbury and surrounded by marvellous open countryside, this homely hideaway offers couples and families an ideal base to explore the history and beauty of Warwickshire. Within a half mile stroll, you'll find five pubs, as well as a lovely range of local village shops and cafes to enjoy. Harbury is bursting with character and surrounded by sweeping countryside, making it a great base for keen walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers alike. The cottage has direct access onto a footpath, ideal for exploring Warwickshire’s rolling hills and woodlands. Steeped in history, brimming with independent shops and restaurants nestled between historic buildings, a beautiful castle, and some stunning parks and gardens, the iconic town of Warwick can be reached within 8.5 miles. The bustling Regency town of Leamington Spa is just 6.5 miles away and offers stunning architecture and plenty of high street shops to explore. The National Trusts Charlecote park is a short drive away (10 miles) or for those that want to experience historical sites and charming eateries, just 16 miles away is Stratford-Upon-Avon. The Stoneleigh Park National Agricultural Exhibition Centre is 11 miles away or the NEC is further afield at 25 miles.
The sunny conservatory that welcomes you provides plenty of storage space, as well as some great views across to the horse paddocks; sit back and plan tomorrow’s adventure inspired by the delightful views. Enjoying a stylish contemporary country cottage finish, the adjoining kitchen is a haven for budding chefs, equipped with everything required to rustle up delicious dinners and perfect picnics, even a plate warming draw. The kitchen leads through to the light and airy hallway, which offers access to the delightful lounge/diner that boasts beautiful bay windows which frame countryside views of the surrounding farm buildings. Sumptuous, plush seating invites tired travellers to unwind, whilst a soft, neutral colour palette and homely touches set the scene for pure relaxation. When it's time to retire for the evening, two blissful bedrooms await that share the same warm, homely ambience as the rest of this cosy bolthole. There is one en-suite king-size bedroom and one king-size zip-and-link bedroom (can be made into twin) on offer. Brimming with sophistication, a soak in the contemporary family bathroom is the perfect way to start or finish a big day’s adventure.
Outside the cottage boasts a large garden, and to the front there is a pretty bench – the perfect place to enjoy the morning sun with your coffee or a sundowner beneath the stars. There is off-road parking for three cars available.
