The stables was really comfortable and well equipped. Ollie the dog settled easily. Our stay was all too short , we hope to stay again , maybe during summer time . Plenty of places to visit fairly nearby . Our thanks to Nigel
Everything was great, perfect peaceful location for switching off and unwinding. Lovely country walks on your doorstep. Parking and check-in a breeze. I thought it might be chilly in the cottage with the stone floors but it was very warm and cosy. Wood for the fire is included (which I made full use of) and more easily available from Tesco garage, not really necessary as the house is so well heated but great if you love a real fire. It’s also more spacious than it looks in the pictures! Hope to be back again soon!
Nigel was an excellent host, communicative and informative. The accommodation had everything you could possibly need, although the wifi was a bit iffy at times. Its was very peaceful and a great area for walking your dog.
A perfect little place to stay. We loved the rural location and it was also close to lots of other places to visit. It had everything you need. Would happily stay there again.
Beautiful little cottage in a stunning location,
Very friendly host, excellent communication prior to , during and after our stay.
Very friendly pub minutes away from cottage, loved the ukulele night. dog friendly too.
Would definitely stay again if in the area
Great stay again in this lovely cottage with everything you need during your stay. Bed very comfortable too which is always a bonus. Wonderful position alongside the canal, great walk for our 4 hounds. Little secure gated courtyard ideal to sit out in the sun for afternoon tea. The Folly pub is just past the boundary of the property so enjoyed a lovely meal there. You can see The Stables from the pub garden. Perfect little spot!

Great walks from the door step
Nice walk along Canal and a pub very close by

John,
Thanks for the review. I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay.
For some reason I gave you a 4* review of “House rules”. This was a result of my incorrect use of the keyboard and in no way reflects on you and your stay here.
I apologise for this error and hope to welcome you here again.
Regards,
Nigel
Two of us stayed at this lovely peaceful location. The host was very helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. The property has everything you need for your stay, they really have thought of everything. Would definately stay again 10 out of 10..
Really enjoyed our few days in the cottage which was lovely and warm, and very well appointed and clean. Nigel, our host, was very helpful and we hope to return.
A most enjoyable 3 days at this really well located and also very well maintained cottage. The cottage is bigger than may first appear from the photos. (Note the bathroom is very nice too with a lovely modern shower - in case a photo of it still does not appear in the details of the property) Nigel was the perfect host.
