Lovely Stay
Has everything you need. Very clean and comfortable. Only problem was the light coming in early in the morning, may want to take a sleep mask with you if you’re a light sleeper. Other thank that could not fault it.

Lovely night away
Our stay at Bloom Stays Pilgrim Lodge, set on the McCann Brewery site was very relaxing. The lodge blends rustic charm with modern comfort, featuring cosy, stylish interiors and everything needed for a relaxing stay including a fab hot tub. Its unique location adds character, surrounded by lovely villages and a peaceful atmosphere. Communication and organisation from Bloom Stays were excellent, making everything seamless from giving us an early arrival to departure. Overall, it’s a distinctive and comfortable retreat, ideal for anyone seeking a quiet escape with charm, character, and a memorable setting. Highly recommended.

Our stay at pilgrim.
We stayed at The Pilgrim on Saturday. Overall, the accommodation itself was lovely, but there were a few things I feel are worth mentioning.
Unfortunately, the shower was freezing cold, which was particularly disappointing. The TV also didn’t work, and we couldn’t find a hairdryer anywhere. We have stayed in several different accommodations and I would normally always pack my own hairdryer, but on this occasion I assumed there would be one provided, so I was surprised when there wasn’t.
On arrival, Lucy was incredibly welcoming, and we really enjoyed chatting with her about the brewery. She made us feel very welcome and got us excited for the evening ahead.
Unfortunately, this is where our experience became a little disappointing. Considering we were staying at a brewery, we had expected the beer to be a big part of the evening, but during our meal we were never once asked if we would like another drink, or even whether everything was okay with our meal. The food itself was lovely, so it was a shame that the service didn’t match it.
These may seem like minor details, but when you’re out enjoying a meal, those little touches really do make a difference. We were also under the impression that the meal would be table service, but in the end my husband had to go up to the bar to pay.
Overall, we really wanted to enjoy our stay and there were certainly some positives, particularly the accommodation itself, the lovely welcome from Lucy and the quality of the food. However, the lack of attention during the meal and the issues with the room facilities did take away from what could have been a really enjoyable experience.
I’m sharing this as constructive feedback, as with a little more attention to the service and a few improvements to the accommodation, I think The Pilgrim could be a fantastic place to stay and dine.
Lovely room, be careful walking around freely as cars will park opposite and have a good look! There is a screen we put up which helped. Overall was very happy and was lovely and relaxing. Would definitely stay again
