About this property
South Kensington Mews Hideaway, by Veeve
This delightful 4 bedroom mews house for short term rental in South Kensington is perfectly placed for Hyde Park, the museums, and Knightsbridge. A charming and well-connected London base for families or groups. Book your stay online today.
Set on a quiet cobbled mews in the heart of South Kensington, this charming 4 bedroom home offers a peaceful retreat within walking distance of some of London’s most iconic destinations. From Hyde Park and the Natural History Museum to the V&A, Science Museum, and a scenic stroll through Knightsbridge to Harrods, the location places culture, green space, and world-class shopping right on your doorstep.
The ground floor welcomes you with the master bedroom, a calm and comfortable space featuring a king-size bed, walk-in closet, and en-suite shower and loo. This level also houses a dedicated laundry area with a washing machine and separate tumble dryer, adding everyday ease to longer stays.
A half flight up sits a sweet single bedroom, thoughtfully arranged with a desk and bedside table - ideal for a child, teen, or quiet workspace. Continuing to the first floor, the heart of the home opens up into a characterful Dutch-style kitchen, where blue tiles and hanging copper pots create warmth and charm. Fully equipped with oven, gas hob, microwave, and dishwasher, the kitchen flows into a generous dining area with seating for up to eight guests. A Juliet balcony overlooks the front of the mews, filling the space with light and a sense of openness.
From here, the layout moves naturally into the sitting room, where a sofa, armchairs, and TV offer a comfortable spot to relax and unwind after a day exploring the city.
On the half landing up to the second floor, a family bathroom provides a shower over bath, sink, and loo. The top floor is home to two further bedrooms: a bright twin room and a charming King bed set on a raised mezzanine floor. Both rooms open through French doors onto a delightful patio roof terrace, creating a lovely shared outdoor space to enjoy fresh air and quiet mornings above the mews.

The delightful roof terrace shared by the top-floor bedrooms, offering a peaceful outdoor escape above the mews, and the wonderfully characterful Dutch-style kitchen with its blue tiles and copper detailing that makes the heart of the home feel truly special.
