About this property
Special garden flat in a quiet Camden Town spot.
This flat is less than 4 minutes walk from Camden Town Underground Station and the centre of Camden nightlife fun -- yet it remains a relaxing oasis in a leafy green setting. A perfect family flat, newly refurbished and peaceful. The Flat: The flat is ideal for two couples or for a family, it has been fully refurbished in 2016 with a brand new bathroom and decor. Additional bedding is available. We have an extra single bed in the main bedroom and 2 separate single beds in the living room. The garden is shared with the whole building but seeing anyone from other flats there is quite rare. The majority of the garden’s occupants are squirrels, all sorts of birds, neighborhood cats, and even fox families on occasion. While we aren’t able to greet you in person, we offer plenty of detailed instructions (including easy entry access) and lots of local information and London reference books for browsing during your stay. A cleaner is in the flat before and after each visit to make sure everything's as expected. The Local Area: “Technically" the flat is within the elegant "Primrose Hill Conservation" area, but it's only 3/4 minutes walk from the Camden Underground Station. A huge supermarket is conveniently close, as well as many other food shops, pubs, restaurants, clubs and venues. Camden Town Underground station is 5 stops from the centre of London (Leicester Square/Piccadilly Circus). And if you prefer a double decker bus instead of the Tube, you can also catch a bus in any direction. Tree filled parks and gardens are a pleasant stroll away along the Canal to Regent's and Primrose Hill Park. And you won’t want to miss a visit to the viewpoint over central London from the top of Primrose Hill!

Very charming flat! Nice and quiet street and so close to Camden Town Underground station. We walked to Primrose Hill and surrounding areas. We are a family of four and it was nice to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms! I would highly recommend this rental for your London adventures!
Well situated for Camden and easy access through public transport to central London. Quiet area with family of foxes playing in the garden each morning.
If you want to be near Kentish Town or Camden Town, this is the apartment for you! Very spacious and quick walk to the tube. Camden Market a short walk away. Enjoyed our stay!
London was our 1st stop on our UK and Ireland family holiday! This place was so perfect. Close enough to be in the heart of Camden but quiet enough not to hear all the live music and hustle and bustle. Very “kitsch” little place with lovely charm and personality!
We enjoyed our stay. The flat was very spacious and fully equipped. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Zero issues with check in. Communication was excellent.
This is a lovely apartment in a great location. Everything is easy to reach by underground or bus. On one side green Regent’s Park, on the other the bustling Camden. Highly recommended!
The neighborhood was amazing. Two blocks from the fascinating Camden Town, it was so close to the underground and many amenities with lots of character. However, two blocks was all that was needed to be completely quiet and very comfortable for our young family. Host had great communication and was very accommodating. Would love to stay here again.
Nice place close to Underground making it easy to get around London. Lots going on in the area.
Kitchen well equipped.
Furniture in living room a little tired but we hardly spent much time in there as we were always on the go.
Nice back yard to see when in the living room
Overall I recommend it. Great for couples or small family
This flat was ideal for two friends that needed separate en-suite rooms and extra space. It is fully equipped including washer and dryer which was helpful for out 2 week stay. Location is ideal with everything you need within a short walk. Great access to the local covered market and tube station. Our host was great: quick responses to a few initial questions. The weekend night noise was the only reason for 4 stars in one category. Highly recommend and would definitely return.
Generous flat in great part of London. Close to tube station and parks. Camden Town has lots to offer. Street is nice and quiet. Flat has a lovely garden that unfortunately we did not get to enjoy fully due to the weather. Fully set up kitchen and living spaces made self catering easy and a comfortable stay
Nicola was a wonderful host with clear detailed communications and helpful suggestion for parking through Just Park that worked out really well.
We will definitely be visiting again and using the garden flat as our London base if it is available.
Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Nicola's flat in Camden has a great location- midway between the bustle and excitement of High Street and Camden Lock Market and the beauty and tranquility of Regent's Park and Primrose Hill. Convenient to all public transport (a five minute walk from the Underground), set on a quiet side street and with a truly private garden and back deck, the flat was in excellent condition, spacious, clean, nicely decorated, exactly as portrayed in the photos and description in the listing, and an extremely comfortable and relaxing place to return to after a day of walking and sightseeing in and around London.
Nicola is an excellent host- very responsive to our requests and inquiries, both before and during our stay, and knowledgable about the area and its many service and entertainment options- he was a delight to rent from and work with!
This was the perfect place for our family of 4. With two teen boys, we wanted space for everyone to relax and unwind after long days of sightseeing. No one felt like they were on top of each other and having two bathrooms and two bedrooms was just perfect for us. The small kitchen was great for preparing easy breakfasts and storing leftovers. We watched a few movies in the family room at night and while we did not use the backyard area, it was very pleasant to look out the window. We even saw a fox one morning looking curiously right back at us! This property truly is less than a 5 minute walk from the underground and just outside of the hustle and bustle of Camden. We enjoyed that the market was so close so that we could grab food and bring it back on the nights we didn't want to sit down at a restaurant. Highly recommend!
We stayed for 3 nights in early June. Clean, basement flat with walk out to large garden occupied by two foxes in the evening until early AM. It had ample space for us to have some downtime from each other as needed and also to eat and play cards together. Some confusion with the property manager over the lamps as we didn't want to use the overheads lights as some people were sleeping due to jet lag having travelled from Canada. A great location, close to the underground (subway) and in minutes you are in the hub of the street markets, the canal and tonnes of restaurants. We walked to Regents Park as well as went to the lookout over London at the top of Primrose Hill by foot. Overall a good find for a multigenerational family stay!
We planned our first family trip overseas and our first stop was London. We loved our VBRO here! The owner takes great pride in their home and it shows. She was excellent at communicating with us and giving us directions etc. This really helped easy any anxiety about traveling with the family. The home is super close to major tube station and to make it easy to see all the must dos in London but is tucked back on a quite street, which is nice to relax in after a busy day of site seeing.
Our family of 4 loved this apartment in the heart of Camden. An easy walk to the tube station, market and many shops and restaurants. Camden is a buzzy, vibrant area but the apartment was very quiet and relaxing. Plenty of space, 2 good bathrooms and a washing machine all made this a great place to stay. Great communication from Nicola.
Easy. Good communication. Comfortable beds and bedding. Great kitchen with big windows. Good light for street level. All amenities (except limited toilet paper and laundry soap).
Great neighborhood, great flat. Convenient to public transit, restaurants, Camden shopping. Kitchen & whole place—well equipped. Owner was quick response, through & helpful. Would stay again. Like it’s in Camden. Easy to London & tourist places. No complaints at all.

We are a family based abroad but we spend a good part of the year in this flat: we absolutely love it!
Why they chose this property
I've felt close to this wonderful city since my university years here in the eighties. I have owned a property in this area for decades and I always loved this stylish and green Crescent, so conveniently located for clubs, gigs and nightlife, tourist sites and culture, next to the wonderful Regent's Park (and zoo) and Primrose Hill Park and yet so conveniently distant from it all, green, quiet, peaceful. It's a bliss! In 2014 I was lucky enough to be able to purchase this garden flat and didn't miss the opportunity...
