NEGLECTED -that is the word that describes this home. Not clean. Kitchen and bathroom cupboards falling apart. 4 broken tea kettles. Oven door falling off. Very little kitchen supplies. No dish towels, no paper towels, no dish soap, no trash bags, almost no toilet paper. An extra pillow but no pillow cases. The stairwell is filthy and unlit. You need a flashlight. The lockbox with the key is very hard to locate. In Türkiye there’s no way the cleaner got paid the high fee we were charged. The advertised washing machine was in a locked room that we just lucked out having access to because the cleaning lady forgot to lock it up. The steep climb uphill and up to the 5th floor should be advertised upfront, not in a hidden afterthought we didn’t see until after we had booked. NEVER would have stayed there if we’d known about that. It made going in and out very miserable even though it wasn’t technically far from shops and restaurants and transport. The advertised address is false. Our private shuttle dropped us off there and we had to climb up a steep hill with all our luggage to the correct address. The bathroom door was broken so the host sent a repair person to fix it. He hacked away at the door and the wall to install a new latch and left wood chips all over the downstairs. The balconies aren’t safe for children. The railings are not stable. . Positives-, the host responded quickly to have the bathroom door fixed and bring new teapot. He communicated well
