About this property
Finest Retreats | No.1 Sand Banks
No. 1 Sand Banks is a stunning coastal retreat perfectly positioned to make the most of Broad Haven's breathtaking westerly views across St Brides Bay. This beautifully presented four-bedroom holiday home sleeps up to eight guests and offers a stylish, flexible open-plan layout that's ideal for families or groups of friends seeking a memorable seaside escape in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Just a short walk from the Blue Flag sands of Broad Haven Beach, the property enjoys an unbeatable location close to the village's cafés, pubs and shops, including a well-stocked convenience store. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs directly through the village, while the charming seafront village of Little Haven is only a ten-minute walk away (or a couple of minutes by car), offering popular pubs, a café and a lobster shop.
Inside, No. 1 Sand Banks combines comfort and practicality with modern coastal style. The well-equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and all necessary utensils, making self-catering effortless. The living spaces open out to a balcony and garden, where you can relax with a glass of wine and take in spectacular sunsets over the bay. With three bathrooms, central heating, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and parking for up to three vehicles on the driveway, the house is well suited for longer stays and year-round holidays.
Broad Haven is a firm favorite with all generations. The safe, sandy beach is perfect for swimming and surfing, with a surf school and lifeguards in summer. At low tide, you can stroll across the sand to Little Haven, or return via the scenic cliff-top path. The area is ideal in all seasons, with coastal walks on your doorstep and the Puffin Shuttle bus available to bring you back after a day exploring.
Within easy reach are St David's Cathedral, Solva's picturesque harbour, award-winning beaches such as Newgale, Marloes and Barafundle, and family attractions including Folly Farm and Tenby's classic seaside charm. From coasteering and kayaking to wildlife spotting on Skomer Island, there's something for everyone.
