Come experience the Keys' world renowned sunsets from all around this property. The master suite is equipped with a king size bed, a private jacuzzi, and steam shower. The guest bedroom features a queen bed. In the third bedroom, two twins and two single trundles complement the sleeping accommodations. Each room is furnished with its own en-suite bathroom, high definition TV and stereo system. A gourmet kitchen furnished with SubZero, Wolf and Miele appliances will greet those who enjoy partaking in the culinary experience. Alternatively, many of the delicious Key Largo restaurants are located within minutes of the property if a night out is preferred.

The property also features a game room with billiard, wet bar, video games, satellite TV, and ping pong table. Of course, the outdoors are the highlight of this masterpiece. A beautifully designed hot tub flows into a heated, beach entry pool. Grill or prepare your favorite cocktails in the fully equipped summer kitchen. Catch some fish from your own 200-foot pier or simply swim in the calm, crystal clear waters of the bay. A full-service dock will easily accommodate a 50-foot boat. For those who prefer the exercise, the owner provides kayaks, canoes and paddle boards.

For visitors needing a little extra help, every floor is serviced by an elevator. The community is gated which provides privacy and security. Every detail has been tended to so that guests can enjoy the stay of a lifetime.

This is an excellent upscale home, tastefully decorated with many amenities. It's location in a small gated area provides privacy. The Host was very hospitable and he and his Property Manager were available to help us whenever we had a question.

This is a very special property. The house is delightful. It even has a lift from the beach to the bedroom which was a real bonus for two pensioners! Glorious beach and lovely garden. Ivan and Bud were always available and helpful to two Brits who don't always understand American systems. Bud even turned out on the afternoon of the Super Bowl!

We have stayed in many nice VRBO properties, but “The Sandlot” has to be our favorite so far. It’s a beautiful well maintained property inside and out. The interior is expansive, the kitchen well equipped and the living areas are very comfortable. I cant say enough about the backyard. The pool area, spa, patio and private beach are phenomenal. We used the covered outdoor kitchen, dining and sitting area for most of our meals. Also took advantage of all the paddle boards, kayaks and out door games. Something for everybody when not boating. Our very gracious host Ivan could not have been more accommodating. We look forward to staying again.

House was just ok

It was really only a 3 bedroom. They listed it as 4 but it was a room with a day bed and big pool table. We had to buy a foam mattress so my grand daughter could sleep. Beware that your phones will not work unless you camp-out at the end of the driveway. Very annoying. Pool area and outside spaces very nice. Beach nice too but the dock is very rough and be careful of splinters. The owner very nice but house a little challenging. No outside shower or toilet on ground level. We had to run dripping wet up the stairs which was unusual.

We are sorry to hear you did not have a 5-star experience like all of our other reviews. We clearly describe the accommodations of every room in the house on the property page so our guests can decide if it works for them prior to booking. Key Largo Building Department code prohibits the construction of sanitary facilities on ground level within a short distance of the shoreline. The cabana bath, accessible via the patio spiral staircase, has always worked well for our family and guests. It is a small price to pay for immediate access to your own private beach!

Paradise found in the Sandlot

The location of this home is perfect, able access all Key Largo and the Keys has to offer, love the laid back atmosphere. The property was more than expected from the Tiki Hut on the beach, the swimming pool with its waterfalls and native wild life, back patio balcony with its view of the bay and sunsets, the comfort of the open kitchen / living room to the escape of the playroom for a little game of billiards on a rainy day. And Ivan best owner ever, open communication with instant response both before we arrive and while we were there, already booked for next year, as my brother said only have to wait 11 months until paradise found.

Best House Ever

I've rented many houses in different countries over the years and many of them were high end. However, this house in Key Largo surpasses them all. Indoors and outdoors everything is perfect. The furniture and the appliances are all of the highest quality. Every detail has been thought of. Once here you understand why the house has was featured in Florida Architecture magazine. One of my friends is a professional chef and he loved the Wolf range and oven, the sub zero refrig/freezer, the Viking grill and the wine keeper which really came in handy as we ate many meals in. There were 8 of us and we especially enjoyed the outdoor covered and uncovered spaces. The pool with its' waterfalls and the hot tub are surrounded by rocks and lush landscaping.. Relaxing and beautiful. I wouldn't be exaggerating to say it's a "dream house". We stayed a memorable 4 weeks and didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this house for anyone who wants to stay in Key Largo.. Like us, you won't want to leave. Five stars doesn't do it justice.

Remarkable home!! Terrific Host.

Just returned from a fantastic month at Sandlot. This custom home will exceed your expectations as the design and craftsmanship is exceptional. Each room has unique and beautiful ceilings, flooring, doors and built ins......and did I mention views! The audio system, lighting, pool systems all just work (not a fan of direct TV) and almost anticipate your needs. The master bath and closet are a masterpiece. I doubt you will ever find a shower anywhere that offers such magnificent views. The pool, spa and outdoor areas are well thought out (TV, Music, Grill (best Grill ever), Icemaker, Fridge, ceiling fans, dimmable lighting system) and enjoyable. The owner (Ivan) was always quick to reply and was very accommodating. Located on a very quiet street we were able to walk to two nearby resorts and avoid a car ride. The boat dock also allowed us to use our boat for many excursions and I enjoyed logging more miles in the boat than the rental car. I give this property my strongest recommendation.

An absolute tropical paradise!

Everything about our month spent at the Sandlot was wonderful! I have been renting thru VRBO for 15 years, and I can say without a doubt this was the finest trip. Ivan, the owner of the property, was a joy to work with. The care and maintenance of the home is evident when you first pull in the driveway. The outdoor living space was a dream, we rarely parked ourselves anywhere else. The pool and hot tub are their own little tropical hideaway. Great location, convenient to every thing. We had guests who joined us for few days here and there, it was perfect as each bedroom has its own bath. Our breakfasts were eaten on the beautiful lanai just off the kitchen, the vivid colors of the Florida Bay were brillant as the sun sparkled off the water. And....we had a friendly manatee who visited us often at the end of the pier. We spent a lot of time on the pier and never missed blowing the conch at sunset. We had chartered the Carolina Moon catamaran, which is docked just up the street at the Playa Largo resort. The captains would sail by each evening and salute us with their conch as well. The home is nestled between the neighboring houses with a nice stand of trees on each side so you have plenty of privacy. Our weather was exceptional, one of my favorite things about the keys.
