Villa Jaume Ramona
Jaume Ramona is an old Mallorcan house located in the Colonya Valley, a beautiful enclave surrounded by mountains and overlooking fields of centuries-old olive trees and other native trees of the island of Mallorca. Access to the house, from the town of Pollensa, is via a narrow road that skirts various estates, including several historic properties (former Mallorcan haciendas).
The house has been carefully renovated during the winter of 2019-2020, with special emphasis on preserving traditional elements such as exposed stone walls and wooden beams in the ceilings, while giving the interiors a more current and modern character. Among the most significant improvements to the house are the complete renovation of all interior floors, as well as the kitchen and bathrooms. New, modern lighting has also brought more brightness to all the spaces.
The main entrance of the house leads to a spacious hallway, furnished with a table and chairs for use as an indoor dining area. Through this hallway, one accesses a large, fully equipped kitchen that still retains the original (now unused) fireplace typical of traditional Mallorcan houses.
On the ground floor, we also have a spacious recreation room where you can play foosball or relax on comfortable sofas and enjoy movies on the impressive 65-inch screen. The smart TV is equipped with Wi-Fi so guests can access their Amazon, Netflix, and other streaming services.
Also from the distributor and through an interior stone arch we can access a room with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower.
From the hall a staircase leads to the upper floor where the other rooms are located: two double rooms with two beds that share a full bathroom, another double room with two beds with its en suite bathroom and two more double rooms with two beds, which share another bathroom with shower.
It is worth noting that the house has various configurations for the beds, with some of them being able to be converted into double beds (always upon request), allowing the distribution of the house to have 3 double beds and 3 twin beds.
Outside, you'll find spacious terraces with various areas where you can enjoy al fresco dining during the warm summer months, or where you can savor an aperitif or drinks while taking in the beautiful views of the valley and surrounding mountains. On one side of the terrace, you'll also find a practical built-in barbecue, perfect for grilling enthusiasts.
The terrace has also been extended in the pool area to provide more space and comfort around the sun loungers, allowing guests to relax on the Balinese bed. The pool itself has also been completely renovated and now features Roman steps.
The exterior also features a completely renovated restroom for guests to use without having to enter the house. The laundry room is located next to this restroom.
Finally, it is worth noting that the property has free Wi-Fi internet access (with several repeaters to provide internet in all rooms) and pool towels.
