Sea Crest is a beautifully renovated 2‑bedroom fishing cottage that offers the perfect blend of traditional character and modern luxury. Originally built in the 19th century, the property retains its authentic stone façade and picturesque seaside charm, while inside it has been restored to a high standard with stylish finishes and thoughtful detailing.

On the ground floor, you'll find a beautifully decorated lounge with its original feature fireplace and a large-screen TV — perfect for cosy evenings by the fire. Just off the lounge, the stylish kitchen boasts sleek fitted units and integrated appliances, including a hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, Tassimo coffee machine, and Ninja air fryer. For added convenience, a washing machine is also provided.

Also located on the ground floor, is our twin bedroom which offers a practical and welcoming space, perfect for younger guests or friends sharing. Two comfortable single beds are dressed in crisp linens, with soft throws and coastal‑inspired accents that reflect the holiday home’s seaside setting. This room includes a flat‑screen TV complete with a retro games stick giving the kids hours of fun with classic arcade favourites — the perfect way to unwind after beach adventures.

Completing the downstairs accommodation is the family bathroom, featuring a stylish bath, rainfall-style shower head, and a heated towel rail — perfect for warming fluffy towels after a busy day of sightseeing.

Climb the stairs and step into the inviting Whisky Snug — a cosy, whisky‑inspired retreat designed for pure relaxation. Originally from Cullen, I grew up in this beautiful village and will forever consider it home. I have a vast knowledge of the local area and will happily point you in the direction of a few hidden gems!

The beautiful Moray Firth coast is a walker’s paradise and this sea front cottage is only steps from the beach. There are stunning coastal trails in both directions. Head west across the beautiful sandy beach passing the majestic Three Kings (sea stacks marking the graves of 3 Norse Kings) and the Cullen Links Golf Course which showcases the talented work of Old Tom Morris. Caves, sea arches and stacks are a common feature along this stretch of the coastal trail and you will soon arrive at Whale’s Mouth, a large natural cave, open at both ends of the cliff. Lying parallel to the cave is the magnificent Bow Fiddle Rock which is one of the most stunning natural rock formations in the UK. The huge sea arch of quartzite rock is the result of sea and weather erosion over millions of years and is a nesting place for an abundance of seabirds.

The coastal trail to the east will take you through more breathtaking scenery as you walk along the Salmon Bothy to Logie Head and down the Giant Steps. This area of coast was described by National Geographic as one of the world’s outstanding coastlines where you can often catch glimpses of dolphins, seals and a variety of seabirds. Continue east along a sparkling seascape to the secluded Sunnyside Beach and onto the ancient ruins of the 13th century-built Findlater Castle.

Other walks easily reached within the town include the Crannoch Woods, Bin Hill and Castle Hill where you can enjoy 360 panoramic views of Cullen and surrounding area. The sunsets from up here are truly magical!

If you feel like dining out during your stay, a short walk will bring you to a selection of bars, restaurants, cafes and takeaways, including one of the best fish and chip shops in Moray! Other highlights include the famous Cullen Ice Cream Shop and premium barista coffee served at the beach by Coffee at the Kings!

Visitors to this delightful area can enjoy a range of activities including boating, rowing, kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding, fishing and cycling. Cullen Sea School and Blue Coast Surf and Paddle are based in the village and offer a variety of activities and equipment for hire. If you’re looking for a more relaxed vibe have a saunter round Cullen’s many quirky boutique shops and antique galleries. Whatever you choose, make your holiday escape one to remember!
