About the host
Hosted by Edgar
I have a background in luxury hospitality and interior design, having worked with boutique hotels in London where attention to detail and guest comfort were always at the heart of the experience. Creating welcoming spaces is something I genuinely enjoy, and Casa X reflects that passion.
I divide my time between the UK and Spain, which gives me a wonderful balance of cultures and perspectives. Hosting allows me to share a thoughtfully designed London home with guests from around the world, whether they are visiting for business, relocation or leisure.
I believe where you stay shapes how you experience a city. My aim is to offer a calm, well-managed and comfortable base — a place that feels personal yet professional, and truly like a home away from home.

Why they chose this property
I chose this part of SE8 because it offers a rare balance in London — peaceful, green surroundings with excellent connectivity to the city. Being positioned between two parks and just moments from the River Thames creates a sense of space and calm that is not always easy to find in London.
I particularly enjoy the riverside walks toward Greenwich, where you’ll find historic landmarks, markets, cafés and beautiful open views from Greenwich Park. At the same time, Canary Wharf, London Bridge and Central London are easily accessible, making it ideal for both business and leisure stays.
What I love most about the area is that it feels residential and authentic — a neighbourhood rather than a tourist hotspot — yet everything you need is within easy reach. It allows guests to experience London at a comfortable pace while still being connected to its energy.

What makes this property unique
What truly sets Casa X apart is its rare balance of green surroundings and city connectivity. Positioned between two parks and just moments from the River Thames, the apartment offers a peaceful, light-filled setting that feels removed from the rush of central London — yet remains exceptionally well connected.
The private balcony overlooking the park adds an uncommon sense of space and calm, ideal for morning coffee or unwinding after a day exploring the city. Inside, the home has been thoughtfully designed with soft neutral tones, layered lighting and boutique-inspired details, creating a warm and refined atmosphere rather than a standard rental feel.
The characterful four-poster bed, spacious king bedroom and fully equipped kitchen make it especially comfortable for longer stays. Guests enjoy the privacy of an entire home in a quiet residential building, offering a more relaxed and authentic London experience than a typical hotel stay.
