We had a wonderful time staying here. We love this area. The location is perfect. Positives: The house is beautiful. The neighborhood is great. Beach is only a 10 min walk. Our family loved the kayak & body board, beach chairs & toys. I also love the sound machine by the master bed. We slept to thunder sounds each night. It is spacious & cozy. We loved that we could bring our yorkies. We kept them crated at night and when we weren’t there. There are a few things that could’ve been better. The dishwasher did not always work, one burner on the stove did not work, 2 sink drains were clogged (downstairs guest bathroom & the first sink in the master bathroom). The upstairs shower with tub did not drain & would fill up when showering. There is a soft spot in the kitchen floor. The dryer didn’t want to work. When we arrived there were wet sheets in the washing machine. The property sleeps 12 but there were only maybe 4-5 forks. We have food allergies so we do a lot of preparing our own foods. The lack of eating utensils & dishwasher not always functioning were an inconvenience. Every place we have stayed in the past has had better communication. We have always been emailed a list of things to do at check in and check out. We didn’t receive communications like this so we just had to guess. Upon leaving we put our sheets & towels in the laundry room, turned on the dishwasher. If there was supposed to be more instructions we were not given them. Overall we had a great time.
