Garden with terrace, garden furniture and BBQ. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is a stream in the grounds 200 yards from the property.. Originally built for the Somerset Canal workers in the late 1800s, this self-catering cottage borders the banks of the Midford Brook. The secluded location of Tucking Mill View in the tiny hamlet of Tucking Mill in the Midford Valley makes it the ideal place to relax and unwind, yet only a 15 minutes’ drive from Bath city centre.



The cottage has been furnished to a high standard and combines stylish comfort with original features to create the perfect self-catering holiday cottage. With a welcoming living room, featuring a traditional wood burning stove, flat screen television, DVD player, iPod docking station and dining, free Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen, it feels more like a home than a holiday cottage. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed dressed with luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen.



Fly fishing can be arranged by request for those wishing to while away the hours by the babbling brook. Awarded a rare 4 Star Gold rating by Visit England, the high quality self-catering accommodation has been recognised with awards for welcoming cyclists and walkers with cycle storage and facilities for drying clothes. There are also many delightful countryside walks and cycle routes on your doorstep, including Sustrans Route 24. Two excellent independent pubs, both within 15 minutes’ walk, serve delicious home cooked food at lunchtime and in the evening. Shop and restaurant 1½ miles, pub ½ mile.
