With a cosy flame effect fire the lodge is ideal at all times of the year with a large flat screen TV with lovely sofas for added comfort. There is a large American fridge freezer to keep all your supplies should you wish to cook on the lovely 5-ring gas hob. Sunflower Retreat is perfect for that well deserved short break at all times of the year or for your annual staycation - all ages will love this lodge. The hot tub is perfect to come back to after exploring the diverse county of Northumberland.

Day trips can be taken all over from Hadrian’s Wall in the west to Holy Island and Bamburgh in the north, stopping off at the stunning unspoilt beaches and little villages. Nearby Alnwick is famous for the castle used in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey and the cobbled streets with friendly cafés and shops all make for a great day out. Located in Swarland it is within easy reach of the A1, Swarland is a small village with a nice café in the local park, and the golf club house is open to all - dog friendly too!
