Please note: There are waterfalls and a pond in the grounds.. Cluanie Lodge is one of three lodges sitting in an elevated position in a sumptuous 14-acre woodland garden, overlooking Loch Lochy and the mountains of the Great Glen beyond. Surrounded by nature, Cluanie Lodge is an ideal location for a nature lover’s relaxing break. The unusual design gives a pleasing sense of airiness and space inside, while externally it blends gracefully into the attractive setting of sloping woodland and wild gardens.



Ideal for relaxed sociable living, the open-plan living space with its well-equipped kitchen provides the perfect setting for a great holiday, whether breakfasting outside on the enclosed decking or snuggling up in front of the wood burner. Large patio doors lead onto the enclosed decking where you can sit for evening drinks, soaking up the tranquil garden views. The ground floor bunk bedroom is perfect for kids, and there’s a family shower room on the ground floor too. Upstairs, there’s a master bedroom, and another double bedroom as well, both with lovely garden views.



Situated on the shores of Loch Lochy, 14 miles north of Fort William and just 6 miles from Spean Bridge, Arkaig Lodge is surrounded by 14 acres of mature garden and woodlands to explore, including a trout Pond, dramatic river gorge and waterfalls, where the river escapes at a private beach into Loch Lochy, with views up the loch and uninterrupted views up and down the spectacular Great Glen. There’s a secluded barbecue hut, where you can shelter from the Highland elements and cook, even in a storm!



There are many different species of wildlife in this beautiful location, with sea eagle, golden eagle and osprey regularly seen. Guests enjoy fishing rights without the need for permits on Loch Lochy from the private beach, with space to store and launch boats, and locally there are some fantastic opportunities for course and fly fishermen on Loch Lochy, Loch Arkaig and Loch Oich. Fishing tuition and canoe trips can also be booked on-site.



Invergloy is well situated for walkers and for car tours of outstanding scenic beauty and historic interest. A dozen castles and countless lochs are within easy reach by car. On the opposite side of Loch Lochy are forest walks, the Great Glen Way and cycle routes. You are within easy reach of many Munros, Ben Nevis and Aonach Mor, the well-known ski and downhill mountain biking resort, with many other fantastic outdoor activities such as white water rafting and ice climbing. There’s a restaurant and bar just under 5 miles walk in either direction from Invergloy. Spean Bridge is just a short 6 miles away, where you will find a few restaurants, a grocery shop, Post Office, coffee shop, a railway station and a 9-hole golf course. Fort William, the ’outdoor capital of the UK’, Nevis Range Ski Centre and the world championship mountain bike track are close by, 14 miles, and the area is renowned for its spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife.
