The Green House sits on a small working farm, surrounded by beautiful countryside views with parking directly outside the property. Perfect for couples and their dogs (two small to medium dog’s welcome), it offers comfort and space in a peaceful setting. Sliding patio doors open into a bright, open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, leading to a separate spacious bedroom and en-suite bathroom. From the bedroom’s patio doors, enjoy sweeping rural views without leaving your bed. Outside, a second shower room with toilet and basin is ideal for drying wet coats and boots. Sit outside with a coffee and in the evening and admire the beautiful sunsets and stunning night skies.
The Green House is perfectly located between Penzance and Land’s End, close to the most westerly town in mainland Britain, St Just. Set on private farmland and accessed via a stone track, it offers a peaceful and secluded base for couples looking to explore the far west of Cornwall. This dramatic landscape, famously featured in Poldark and steeped in tales of smugglers, is rich in history and natural beauty.
A forty minute walk will take you over the moors to the Iron Age settlement of Carn Euny, which has a very fine fougou to explore. You can walk to the Chapel Carn Brae, with views to the longships and The Isles of Scilly beyond. Walk up to the top of Bartinny and watch panoramic sunsets, all without getting in the car. Listen for the cuckoo in April/May. The rugged coastline and open moorland are home to abundant wildlife, including the iconic Cornish chough.
There is plenty to see and do nearby. Enjoy a round of golf at Cape Cornwall, try fly fishing at Drift Reservoir, or wander across the wild moors dotted with the atmospheric remains of old tin mining engine houses. Visit Geevor Tin Mine and Museum to experience an underground tour and discover Cornwall’s mining heritage. Nature lovers will enjoy Trengwainton Gardens (National Trust), renowned for its collection of exotic plants.
For a truly memorable day, fly from Land’s End Airport to the Isles of Scilly and explore Tresco or St Mary’s. Dogs are also welcome on the Skybus. The area has stunning beaches Sennen known for its surfing , Portheras Cove with its sandy cove surrounded by dramatic cliffs.

Follow sat nav directions to Penzance A30 then Lands End. At Mount Misery Roundabout take 3rd exit onto A3071 St Just. Just before St. Just there is a staggered junction where you will turn left, (sign post to Numphra, Dowran, Sancreed and Roselands caravan park). After about 300 yards take a right turn and travel past Roselands caravan park, through Dowran, down and up a steep dip and a sharp right hand bend and you will see the sign for Lower Numphra Farm after about 200 yards on your right. Turn in and follow the track along the fields. Near the bottom you will see a sign for The Green House, parking is next to the property.
