Lovely location. Light sleeper note the lovely church clock chimes on the hour 24 hours a day. The property is lovely. Good for entaining and local supermarkets are just a short walk/drive away as is the beach
Comfortable clean and comprehensively equipped being secluded in a small community yet close to all essential amenities.
Ideally located for visiting most of Cornwalls many renowned attractions
We felt very comfortable in this beautiful and spacious cottage. We Head some trouble with our car and Mandy and Bob were very helpful contact. We would book this cottage a second time.
A very convenient location, everything was as advertised. Our host was attentive to any questions we had. The property was well equipped. Would recommend to others
Its a lovely place to stay. The house is a gresat size for our family. Lovely and clean and has everything you need.
Very close to Tesco and easy access to A30
The perfect place and very reasonably priced.
Have stayed before and hope to stay again
Excellent location to get anywhere you want to go. Beds were very comfortable and facilities were just what you need, including a good hot shower. Everything we needed. We booked for next year before we left. Need I say more! You won't regret booking.
Lovely place to stay. Quiet village, spacious property and close to supermarkets. We used as a base to visit places of interest, it was easy to get onto the A30.
Lovely pub just up the road
Would definitely stay in this property again.

Lovely property, very clean, everything we needed was just there. We felt very welcome and the host Mandy was lovely and very prompt to answer any question's , overall a wonderful week .
Ideal property for our family stay - conveniently located for access to Penzance and other areas in Cornwall, especially Lands End and the surrounding areasAll facilities we needed were there - and 3 major supermarkets all within walking distance if needed; although the pathway is a bit overgrown (not that there's anything Mandy could have done about that!)Can also recommend a meal at the local pub a minute's walk up the hill - not a crumb left at the end!All in all a fabulous stay, and we would definitely consider using it again
Our time spent at The Cart House was very peasefull and gave us room to relax and enjoy our holiday in Cornwall. Even the chimming of the church bells did not bother us.
A couple of things can use an update (settees and the kitchen tap)
But all in all a great place to stay.
We loved the layout of the place.
Thank you Mandy.

The house is in a great location for exploring the local area. Nice open planning living and patio area. It is quite bizarre that there are 3 bedrooms and no wardrobes in any of them. The beds could also benefit from headboards and caster holders. The property was well equipped but would benefit from a deeper clean. The church bells were lovely but not every hour through the night. However overall we had a lovely week.

In response to your review.
We felt the bedrooms were too cluttered, so removed the wardrobes, thinking the chests of drawers would suffice. We will address this.
It is the village clock that chimes not the church bells. This is typical of old Cornish towns and villages.
With regard to headboards etc. we will address for next season.
Sorry the deep clean fell short, if you contacted me during your stay I would have done my best to rectify this.
Many thanks for booking with us
regards
Mandy
Really loved staying at the Cart house. Twenty minute walk to Penzance. Easy car ride to supermarkets etc. Village a bit noisier than expected with church bells chiming on the hour every hour. Bit of a cut through to St Ives road but not a problem.
Cottage well equipped. Everything you would need in the kitchen.
No wardrobes or hanging space .
Nice patio area.
Pub 50 yards away was closed but reopening very soon .
We intend to return next year as it was perfect for our stay.
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Carthouse. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hatten hilfreiche Tipps für uns. Alles was man braucht, war in dem Haus vorhanden. Sehr zu empfehlen.
