Words will not do justice to the island that is Seabrook. Nestled among the South Carolina barrier islands, Seabrook is a private, gated community committed to the preservation of the natural beauty that is so richly present all over the island. It is home to an abundance of wildlife including deer, foxes, alligators, raccoons, and many other species. The peace and tranquility that exists on Seabrook simply must be experienced to be believed. Ocean Winds and Crooked Oaks golf courses are Audobon certified and skillfully carved into the landscape to maximize the experience of nature during each round of golf. The Tennis Center is nationally acclaimed offering a dynamic tennis experience.

Access to other amenities includes a fitness center with sweeping ocean views, an olympic size swimming pool, a driving range, an equestrian center, several restaurants, and of course, the beach. The beach experience at Seabrook is very unique in that it is extremely private. Even in the peak times of summer the beaches are very uncrowded.

Great Place

I Stayed here three years in a row very nice place. Owners are great to work with the best Swimming pool in all of the complexes. Marsh behind unit is Gorgeous. Highly recommend. I will be back Thank you Sam Carvour

Great place

We loved our time on Seabrook Island. The villa was perfect for me and my teenage daughter. The location was quiet, peaceful, beautiful and an easy drive to Charleston. Tom was great and made the process super easy. Thanks for sharing your place!

This place is perfect. Great location, great unit, and a great host! My husband and l attended a wedding on the island, and this villa was in a perfect location. Great restaurants within driving distance. The villa was clean, and updated (beautiful), easy check in/out-it had everything we needed. Tom was a perfect host, answered all of our questions in a timely manner. I keep saying perfect, because that is what it was...PERFECT! Thank you Tom & Anne! We definitely recommend!

Great villa

Great Villa this is my second year staying at this Villia .I find the unit very comfortable extremely clean and of course close to all the things I like to do beach,swimming pool and traveling into historic Charleston. Well suited to our needs.

We enjoyed our stay at your comfortable condo. It was convenient to everything Seabrook Island has to offer. There were only two issues: upon arrival, the kitchen was dirty; we had to give it a good cleaning. However, the rest of the condo was fine. The other problem was that there are bees on the deck. Aside from these minor annoyances, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is definitely a great value for Seabrook Island.

What a wonderful stay

Apparently I didn't write a review at the time of the actual stay which was 11/2012, however, with all that was happening at that time, hopefully Tom will forgive me. At that time, we had to reschedule due to the unexpected deaths of a sister and my dad, less than 24 hours apart. Tom was wonderful and most understanding. Ended up going about one month later than originally anticipated. The condo was everything we could need. Most appreciated it having 1.5 baths. The kitchen met our needs and enjoyed the screened porch out of the way of the human-eating mosquitoes and other bugs. Tom gave us a recommendation for bike rentals which was wonderful way to get around the island as well as biking over to Kiawah. I have never biked as much in such a short period of time as there. However, given the grieving going on at the time, it was appreciated and needed. While the water was too cold to swim in, the weather was pleasant. All of our needs were met by the condo. I will say though that for what I like, it would be crowded with more than two people and privacy could be an issue since the bedroom upstairs is really more a loft style. It didn't bother us but other people may have an issue. I couldn't recommend their place anymore. I use VRBO regularly in my travels and this has been one of the best experiences. Thank you Tom. I hope to return this fall.

Perfect Anniversary Week

I agree with EVERY 5 star review posted here. I’ve rented at least 10 VRBO properties in the last few years and I have to say this is one of the best. It’s the perfect place for a quiet, cozy getaway. The location within Seabrook Island is great; it’s easy to get around and convenient to the entrance/exit to this private island. You are a very short walk to the pool and a quick ride to the bike path. My husband and I enjoyed several meals at the Bohicket Marina restaurants (after all, it was an anniversary celebration and I wasn’t cooking.) We even rode our bikes to the Freshfields Market Center and enjoyed coffee and window shopping. Unfortunately, mid-March is not exactly beach friendly, so we didn’t get to spend much time enjoying the sun, sand, and surf. We did, however, spend a day in Charleston taking in the beautiful city, getting a history lesson, and visiting the Market. We visited the Charleston Tea Plantation, Fire Fly Distillery, Folly Beach, Edisto Beach, the Fire Truck museum, the Angel Oak, several unique restaurants, and even had the opportunity to ride our bikes on the beach at Kiawah Beachwalker Park. This place has all of the comforts you would get at home and even though I didn’t do much cooking at the villa, it was well stocked with all the cookware and dishes one might need. I really enjoyed my hot tea (from the Tea Plantation) in the mornings on the deck, listening to and watching the wildlife wake up. I also really enjoyed working with Tom on this rental. He was very patient, informative, and relaxed! Truly the best rental experience I’ve had. He even checked in with us the second day to make sure we had everything we needed and that the villa met our expectations. Kudos Tom!! I’ve never had an owner do that before…EVER. We are already planning the next trip to Seabrook Island and Tom’s villa. So exciting!!

Awesome, responsive hosts!Clean, well appointed villa in a great location was a perfect spot for a quick family getaway and a great value for our budget. We loved having the pool close by, and were usually the only ones using it. It was quiet and peaceful and we so appreciated our time there. So glad I found this listing!

Nice enough place. I was a little disappointed...the property was a little more dated than I expected. It could use some paint and carpet replacement. So I would suggest a little sprucing up, but it was OK. Some paint and a little attention and it would be great.

The condo fits all your needs and is very clean and close to everything. The owners are easy to get in touch with and are very helpful. Perfect place for a couple to enjoy Seabrook Island

This condo is small but perfect for the two of us. It was very clean, nicely stocked, and conveniently located. We love Seabrook island, but had to leave due to a hurricane. We did not get to stay for our full rental period, and the owner was very helpful and communicative. Would definitely recommend! We will return!

Short Weekend Stay

Perfect for our visit to the Island for a Memorial Service / Celebration of life for an Aunt who passed on last year. Quiet community allowed early morning coffee in the rear screened in Porch facing the woods! We DIDN'T use the Pool as our cousins have one and that's where we visited the whole weekend. Love Seabrook Island and would have built our new home there if the construction costs hadn't skyrocketed! Now on St Simon's Island, GA.

We had the best visit again to Seabrook!

Loved the property, location was fun for our kids to bike to beach or to Freshfields or Bohicket on their own! Lovely spot, cute deck, and great to have the own little pool!!! Been coming to Seabrook since 1987, so this has been added to places to stay again!!

Great location!

I was in town for a conference and was surprised at how beautiful the location was! So close to great places like Freshfields and the Salty Dog Cafe, which I highly recommend. Taking a bike around all of the trails was great, as was getting to see the horses hang out near the equestrian center. The unit was clean and all the instructions were on point. Having a washer/dryer when your by the beach is a must and they work great. Had everything I needed. I was traveling on my own and felt very safe. Would definitely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

We purchased this villa because of its relative solitude. Seabrook Island will never have the crowds that we have experienced when vacationing in other places. It is very private and low-key. Just right for our family!

What makes this property unique

We enjoy the fact that this villa has a pool right in the complex for a quick swim anytime. It also has a small deck and a small screen porch overlooking the marsh for enjoying morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
