This apartment is a great price for where it is located. It has its charm and that cannot be taken away from it. Torri del Benaco is a great place to be located when vacationing in Lake Garda. However, there were a couple issues that I feel are important to note. You must pay 12.50 euros PER PERSON for bed linens and towels, even though it says on the add that towels are included, and even though you and your partner may be sleeping in the same bed. In addition, the AC is only in the living room, so if you are sleeping in the bedroom, it basically has no AC. All appliances in the bathroom are very old, thus our boiler for hot water stopped working the last two days and we had to take showers by boiling water in a kettle and washing up like that. The host tried to fix it, but couldn’t because it was a Saturday. The real issue is its age. If it were newer, it probably wouldn’t have happened.Lastly, you have to buy EVERYTHING essential, from the bed linens, to toilet paper, to detergent, and so on. If the apartment has any of that, it is just left overs from previous guests. Overall, for the price it really is a steal, but as far as caring and thoughtful hosts go, this is not one of them.
