Myrtle Cottage, Cotehill is ideally based for guests wanting to explore north Cumbria, Hadrian's Wall and the Scottish Borders. Being a short drive from the M6 it is ideal for stop overs when travelling north and south. Lake Ullswater is easily reached by the motorway or via the Carlisle to Penrith road or take the A69 for a day trip to Newcastle. The contemporary cottage is furnished and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay at any time of year, the underfloor heating ensures you are kept warm and cosy and the garden is perfect for lazy summer days. The village pub is just over 100 yards away where a warm welcome awaits and hearty home cooked meals are on the menu.
The open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area is flooded with light from the patio windows and offers a comfy L shaped sofa in front of the smart TV with full Sky Sports and Cinema package and Netflix, snuggle up and watch the latest film release or relax with a book. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare a meal for 2 with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave to be enjoyed at the dining table. The hall provides ample space for storing walking boots and coats and there is a ground floor cloakroom.
As evening descends the spacious first floor bedroom beckons with a comfy king size bed and ultra HD Smart TV. Freshen up in the shower room before getting ready for your day ahead in the walk in dressing room.
