An area renowned for its outdoor activities, the town is surrounded by the Ben Vrackie and Schiehallion mountains, excellent for hillwalking, there is also the stunning River Tummel with its scenic dam and boat hire available, alternatively you can watch on with a warm coffee in the Boating Station Café. Pitlochry also has a golf course and the Tay Forest Park to keep you busy, the dramatic Cairngorms National Park also comes nearby for some serious walking and cycling. The town hosts festivals and is home to a number of different shops and restaurants to enjoy. With the Blair Athol Distillery also available, this town has something for everybody.
