Hazel is a wonderful cottage situated just outside the town of Bowness-on-Windermere in Cumbria and benefits from six acres of woodland to explore. The cottage can sleep twelve people in five bedrooms: 1 x ground floor super king-size double, 2 x king-size doubles both with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x ground floor twin, 1 x family room with 1 x super King (zip/link, can be twin on request) and 2 x single with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Ground floor bathroom with bath, walk in Shower, basin and WC. Ground floor basin and WC. There is a well equipped kitchen with open plan dining area, an entrance hall, snug room and cosy sitting room with woodburning stove. The main patio doors lead outside to a spacious decked area with a luxurious hot tub. There is allocated off road parking for two cars. Hazel is the perfect cottage to explore Bowness-on-Windermere and surrounding area as it is only a short walk to Lake WIndermere along with Brant Fell and its surrounding fells. Note: Occupancy cannot exceed 12 people, plus one infant under the age of 2



The Neighborhood:

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere hold enduring appeal for visitors to the Lake District National Park, with each providing a range of nearby attractions, amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. A variety of boat trips and boat hire are available from Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness to Brockhole, Ambleside and Lakeside. The World of Beatrix Potter attraction and the Old Laundry theatre are 1.5 miles away. There are also a variety of watersports on offer for the more energetic at marine centres along the lake.
