The bedrooms consist of a king-size with Smart TV and en-suite shower room, king-size with Smart TV, and twin, serviced by a bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with patio, gravelled area, furniture, and barbecue, along with designated off-road parking for one car, with additional roadside parking available. Travel cot and highchair available. Sorry no smoking. Check in restriction: Monday and Friday. Two well behaved medium sized dogs accepted - not in the bedrooms or in the furnitureYou'll find a shop in 0.1 miles, pub in 0.2 miles, and river in 1 mile. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels inc. in rent. The Old School is a beautiful base for a rural retreat in Northumberland. Note: Welcome pack provided by owner.



The Neighborhood:

The small attractive village of Lowick is ideally placed for a holiday in Northumberland and is host to two vibrant pubs, The Black Bull Inn and The White Swan Inn where you can sample some hearty fare before continuing with your adventures. It also has a fantastic village shop where you can stock up on the essentials or treat your loved ones to a selection of home baked goods. Kimmerston Riding Centre is just a few miles to the west of the village . The pretty village of Ford with its castle and craft shops is 2 miles away, part of the Ford and Etal Estate which has facilities for cycling and fishing, as well as a mini railway – ideal for all the family. There are also excellent golfing opportunities, with 8 golf courses within 20 miles of Lowick. Northumberland’s beautiful coastline, Holy Island, the Cheviots for hill walking and mountain biking and the fascinating border town of Berwick, are all only short drives away. A superb base for exploring all the region has to offer.
