Red Kite Hut is a shepherd’s hut with a studio-style layout with double bed, kitchen equipped with an electric hob, fridge with ice box, microwave, kettle and toaster and dining area with a Smart TV and woodburning stove. There’s a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Underfloor heating, WiFi, fuel and power, a starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Outside there’s an enclosed veranda with furniture and fire pit, wood fired hot tub, BBQ and and Designated parking place for one car. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Nearest shop in 3.3 miles, pub in 3.2 miles. Bring your special someone for a break at Red Kite Hut. Note: There are steps up to the property, please take care. This property has a good housekeeping bond of GBP 50.



The Neighborhood:

This pleasant village lies in the beautiful Tanat Valley at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains, only 4 miles from one of the Seven Wonders of Wales - the magnificent Pistyll Rhaeadr (240 ft high waterfall). Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant was the location for the successful film, The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain, and more recently the film Nativity 2 starring David Tennant. The village boasts two general stores, a newsagent, a Post Office, a butchers, three pubs, a café, a fish and chip shop, and an Indian takeaway. It is surrounded by stunning countryside, providing walking trails for all abilities including the Berwyn Ridge Walk and a trail to the summit of the waterfall. Discover Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala, the National Trust Powis and Chirk Castles, medieval Shrewsbury and Chester and the wonderful Snowdonia National Park.
