Parsons Pleck is a mid-century modern, single-storey home that sleeps up to 12 guests and is fully accessible. Thoughtfully designed and filled with original art, it’s ideal for family gatherings, wellness retreats, and team away days. The house offers generous shared and private spaces, a peaceful rural setting, and a wraparound deck perfect for alfresco dining while enjoying wide countryside views.

The Space:

Living Spaces

The house provides generous shared and private spaces for everyone to relax, work, or play, whatever their age or mobility. A wraparound deck offers alfresco dining and panoramic views over the surrounding fields. Inside, the combination of light-filled rooms, cosy corners, and a wood burner creates a welcoming atmosphere for all seasons.

Kitchen & Dining

The kitchen is professionally stocked with everything you need for cooking and entertaining, including full crockery, cutlery, glassware, and utensils. Cooking is a pleasure with a 5-ring induction hob, range cooker with two ovens, grill, and warming drawer, an American-style fridge freezer with ice maker and water filter, wine cooler, butcher’s block, hand blender, Kenwood mixer, kettle, Nespresso machine (bring your own pods), milk frother, cafetières, toaster, and microwave. Practical appliances include a dishwasher, washing machine with hanging airer, and ironing facilities. A starter pack of dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, kitchen paper, and tea towels are provided, and local supermarkets deliver groceries directly to the house.

Bedrooms & Household Amenities

Bedding, linen, and towels are supplied, with two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. Families will appreciate two travel cots and two high chairs. Safety and comfort features include smoke detectors, a carbon monoxide detector, hairdryers in all bedrooms, grab bars, and a shower stool. The home is wheelchair accessible, and all rooms have individual radiator thermostats. Parking for up to five cars is available.

Entertainment

Guests of all ages will find plenty to do. Indoor entertainment includes a Freesat TV in the games room, a DVD player with a selection of films, a Wii console with games, ping pong and table football, board games, and a chess set. The garden room houses a library, while the TV room features a smart TV with HDMI connection for laptops.

Outdoor Spaces

The outdoor spaces are designed for fun and relaxation. The wraparound deck features dining for 12, undercover sofas, reclining deck chairs, and umbrellas, as well as a purpose-built charcoal BBQ. The spacious, enclosed garden is pet-friendly and includes a wheelchair-accessible ramp, a heated swimming pool (May–September, weather-dependent), a sauna, and a firepit for evening gatherings. Pool towels are not supplied.
