Very long and detailed checkin requests, twice asking for selfies with and without passport pics… and once again to get the checkin lockbox code! It was frustrating and unnecessary. The main issue was the lack of air conditioning !!! It showed on the listing and description but when we got in there were only 2 fans available for 3 rooms with very little power and useless when there are 38 degrees inside in the summer ! Very disappointing

Advertised with air conditioning, parking, washer and dryer. There is no a/c, parking, nor dryer. I checked and took a video (no wall units, vents or anything indicative of air conditioning). We arrived late night, struggled figuring out parking, check in was very lengthy and complicated. The apartment was so hot and terrible. We messaged him and he offered to bring a fan next morning. We left in the morning and had to pay so much more for a hotel for the remaining 3 nights. Not even screens on windows to be able to leave open. When we messaged host letting him know we left and expected a refund, he said he had already messaged ac was not working day of check in, so basically said it was not his problem. He had messaged last minute, when I had already said we would be traveling and wouldn’t be able to communicate much (especially since all communication was in Italian and I had to have translated). Later saw the prior review from several weeks ago indicating ac didn’t work so the host was aware and could have cancelled weeks before but instead messaged us last minute. Someone else before that also wrote the same thing (that it was hot and there is no controllable A/C). Couldn’t use the outlets as not standard EU. We wasted a day of travel looking for a place and lugging stuff. I hope the host will still does the right thing and refunds.

The overall location was great. Parking was a little difficult, but we figured it out and the paid lot was very reasonable. The unit was advertised with ac but it was not controllable and a bit warm. There were fans which helped.
