Clean property very close to Capoliveri center with outdoor seating area. Annalisa and her family are exceedingly hospitable and kind. Some amenities are lacking however, including a washing machine and wifi. As we were three students pursuing geological field work on the island for a month, annalisa’s mom Lia offered to wash our laundry for us once a week. The house is a 5 min walk from the weekly mercato at piazza rallye Elba, a 3 min walk from a car/scooter rental agency (d’ausilio), and has ample parking for those with vehicles. Renters should note that the property is not completely private, as the family lives in the apartment above and very nearby, and other neighbors’ outdoor spaces are adjacent. However there wasn’t ever an issue with this for us, but if you are seeking complete solitude then this is not the property for you. Overall we enjoyed our stay and thank Annalisa and her family immensely for their hospitality.
