It’s a short walk to an easy beach access, giving you miles of sandy beach to explore.

You’ll find this home clean, roomy and beautiful, with its white rock hearth, gleaming hardwood floors, wood-lined walls and inset fireplace. Western light streams in the wall of windows, and a glass door takes you out on the deck for barbecues and lounging in Adirondack chairs in the ocean breeze. Disappointing to find after using the rest room and wanting to take a shower there wasn't any provided soap. We reached out to the host, and they stated there was a starter packet. we asked if soap should be included but did not receive a response.

My husband is in a wheelchair so not ADA friendly but worth the stay , the name precedes itself as we had a show of whales all day long, beautiful sunsets at night with a great view, next door is the owner & had a great visit with him, very hospital so if you needed anything he was right there!

Stayed here with my husband and 80 yr old parents to attend a wedding and it was perfect for that. Everything on one level with a deck that has amazing view. My dad liked sitting out just watching ocean. About 1 mile round trip to beach access but we were content on deck. Great view from two bedrooms as well. Master bathroom/bedrooms need hooks for towels and not enough towels provided especially since it was hard to hang used towels up but that is my only complaint. Would definetly stay again.

Gorgeous house

This is a wonderful and comfortable house. Named Whale of a View and it does not disappoint. We were so comfortable that we didnt even leave the house except for short walks in the neighborhood.

We really enjoyed this property. The views of the beach and the pacific ocean were beautiful. The location is great for exploring the Oregon coast, as several key attractions are within 2 hour drive. Highly recommend!

Perfect for a family of 4 plus dog

Well I have to say I have no problem giving this a five-star home. It's in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The view is unbeatable My husband and I prefer going to the beach in the winter time and then in the spring. We will most definitely rebook this home. It's spotless. It's a little dated but it doesn't matter. It's comfortable. The sheets and the pillows and the linens are delightfully soft, clean. So easy to book. So easy to get comfortable and never leave. South Beach is a charming, small little community. It's a quick drive to Newport. We love being close to Nye Beach. A couple of our favorite restaurants are there. Huge screen TV. Comfortable furniture, kitchen full of everything you could possibly need. Lovely lovely lovely house. And may I add that there's a huge driveway you're actually allowed to park in the garage, which is nice in the winter time. I can't say enough good things about it.
