Sarah & Mat are huge lovers of nature, and big foodies - these of course go hand in hand after a day out hiking.
Sarah is a private chef and Mat... well he loves eating, so there seriously couldn't be a better combination!
We have been hosting on other sites for the last six months but Noddfa House Chapel is new to VRBO hence we have no reviews yet.

Why they chose this property

Noddfa House Chapel is located near all the major South Wales sites. It also has local areas which the tourist dont know about that Mat can help you with.

What makes this property unique

Built in 1905 at the height of the great Welsh religious revival, Noddfa was once at the heart of a remarkable period in Welsh history. So many people came to worship that queues would form outside the chapel, and at the peak of its popularity, Noddfa is said to have held services around the clock, 24 hours a day.

The name Noddfa means sanctuary in Welsh — a fitting name for this former Baptist chapel that welcomed generations through its doors.

In 2002, the chapel began an extraordinary new chapter when it was converted into a unique private home. Today, behind its historic walls lies a labyrinth of 21 rooms, including hidden spaces, secret rooms and concealed doorways accessed through secret panels.

More than a century after it was built, Noddfa remains a place full of character, mystery and stories waiting to be discovered.
