The Great Escape offers your WISP & Deep Creek Resort retreat. 4BR/4BA

2 Master suites on the main level with each offering their own private bath are joined by a 3rd bedroom and a 3rd full bathroom. Large Great room offers comfortable seating around a gas fireplace. The dining table offers expansion leafs to host your entire family for the family meal. The kitchen is set up with granite countertops and about every amenity one could seek in a kitchen.
The lower level offers 2 separate living areas. Each offers comfortable seating and a TV. Further you will enjoy the fooseball table and the ping pong table on those rainy days! Walkout basement gives easy access to the lovely, private back patio with hot tub, large level yard, swing set and firepit.
Enjoy abundant privacy while being only minutes to the major Resort activities including the WISP Resort and all North Lake activities. Nearby Mountain State Brewpub is one of our preferred area restaurants and is only 1/4 a mile away! Country lane offers easy access to the Youghiogheny River 'put in' location for the kayaker wishing to test their skills on the World Class Whitewater River. For the more timid or controlled rafting experience visit the nearby ASCI recirculating river on top of Marsh Mountain! Awesome home

Awesome home in very quiet wooded area. Property was very clean. Bed linens and towels provided. Lots of cooking pans and utensils. Very welcoming for all ages. Board games. Video games, pool and ping pong table and a hot tub! Great fire pit and deck area. Everyone enjoyed their stay! Very close to a lot of fun places

Awesome house. Awesome trip!

This house was perfect for our two families -- 4 adults and 5 kids. First, this house is the cleanest rental house I have ever stayed in. It was homey and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with every cooking utensil you could imagine. The property is close enough to everything, but with the privacy and quiet we wanted. The yard was big for the kids to play and the hot tub was perfect at night for the adults. We recommend visiting the Mountain State Brewery right down the street-- good food, bingo and live music! We had the best time and plan to rent this house again soon!

The pictures online really undersell this property. It looks brand new is very spacious and the location is fantastic. Well equipped kitchen and spacious rooms.

Great time staying at the great escape in McHenry MD

we enjoyed our stay there. the house was clean and ready when we arrived. The location was good, just above Deep Creek but it was easy to access the lake area, just a quick drive down 219. Only concern was the mattress in the master bedroom, it was stained and needs to be replaced.

Perfect for Families

The property was very, clean, spacious, and entertaining. I traveled with my 5 and 7 years old boys and they loved the outdoors playground equipment, ping pong and fuss ball table. I also traveled with my elderly in laws and the accommodations were perfect for them. I would definitely rent the property again.

The Great Escape 2020

We could not have asked for a more beautiful and spacious home we got with The Great Escape. We spent our evening hanging out on the front porch playing cornhole in the front yard. Then retired to the firepit and hot tub when the stars came out. The kids loved the downstairs with pingpong, pool, foosball, and their own TV viewing area, it was their own getaway from the parents. We would highly recommend The Great Escape to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful house, great location, lots to do

I would say the only complaint we have regarding the property is there was no cleaning supplies and very little offered as far as paper products. The house itself is beautiful, just hate having to pay for things like garbage bags, cleaning supplies, and paper towels.
