Secluded house with view over Kertinge Nor

A very special holiday home awaits the small family or couple of friends who appreciate untouched nature and togetherness in a beautiful setting. Ane and her family's 'second home' is surrounded by rolling fields on one side and the fjord on the other. The neighbor is the forest and occasionally a few horses grazing in the fields.



The wooden summer house is minimalistic and Nordic decorated with wooden furniture, clean lines and light streaming in from the skylights. All around you'll find evocative details like the model of a sailing ship, the wood-burning stove to warm you in the cooler months, and the cozy adjoining annex with a queen-size bed.



But most magical of all is the view of the fjord from the panoramic windows of the kitchen-dining room. Be captivated by the light over the fjord while you cook in the kitchen, sit around the table or lounge on the sofa. Even when you wake up in the morning in the annex or in the shower, you'll have the best view of the water mirror.



From the living room, you can step out onto the 100 square meter wooden terrace, where you can have breakfast in the sunrise or sit in the covered shelter that ensures a good coffee spot even on windy days. The garden provides direct access to the water, calling for a fresh dip followed by a warm rinse in the outdoor shower. In the height of summer, algae hinders swimming, but the shallow and calm water invites you to engage in all kinds of water sports.
