True atmosphere with sea view and beach

On the beautiful island of Falster, you'll find this lovely little cottage in a fantastic location right by the beach. Here, the family can be fascinated by the ever-changing views of the Baltic Sea, feel at home in the warm atmosphere of the interior, and frolic on the beach at the end of the garden.



The cottage has everything you need for an unforgettable vacation. Inside, you'll find an open-plan living room and kitchen where you can enjoy the breathtaking sea views. Two bedrooms sleep four, and an additional glamping tent in the front yard during the summer months offers a fun summer home.



Outdoors, there are plenty of opportunities to relax, play and socialize. Go on an adventure in the garden or enjoy your morning coffee from the lounge sofa on the terrace while the kids play at the outdoor kitchen. You can also take a dip and enjoy the beach right at the end of the garden. This is the ideal setting for enjoying nature in all seasons.



If you want to explore further, Falster and Lolland offer a wealth of wonderful excursions and culinary experiences. The bakery at Hesnæs harbor, Pomlenakke traktørsted, The Perfect Fisherman, and Hotel Saxkjøbing are just some of the favorites. For the kids, there's Lalandia, Knuthenborg, tractor museum, swimming pool, medieval center and minizoo - and much more. Corselitze forest is 1.5 km north along the water, and there are plenty of flea markets if you're into that. You can also go shopping in Nykøbing or eat street food and listen to music in the square in Marielyst.

The beach is beautifully unspoiled and was hardly crowded in mid-June. It almost felt like a private beach. The surrounding area is very beautiful, and there’s plenty to do. Hello, Overall, I had a very nice and relaxing vacation—thanks for asking. The house was clean and perfectly adequate for my needs. Mette had sent me a comprehensive file* in advance with practical tips for day trips, restaurants, and sights—that was really nice. However, there’s still room for improvement in some details: The “boat” mentioned in the listing on the website doesn’t exist. I had specifically asked Mette about the boat again when I booked, but she never replied. Since I enjoy boating, I would have brought my own boat otherwise. The electric kettle was extremely encrusted with limescale; I cleaned it out. The windows facing the sea were very dirty—apparently they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Since I’m paying the rental price primarily for the view, I consider this a shortcoming. The two chairs on the terrace are full of rusty nails, some of which are even sticking out a bit. Only one of my towels got damaged (a few threads pulled out), but I can easily imagine that you could quickly get blood poisoning here. * A note about the public staircase to the left of the property should be added here, since the private staircase is quite uncomfortable. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back. Best regards, Michael
